Yes it is

Best screen available, and 3K.

A reasonable price considering the exhorbitant cost of many new releases.

S8 Plus, was £548 from Amazon Italy last week.

Not voting.

Good price....shame the free gear vr offer has ended

Now the VR deals have ended I expect the price will start to come down. This is a great price imo.

Too small for me. Got this from amazon Germany for £485 last month but send it back. Went for Note 8 instead and love it

So not from Amazon really..

Other sellers

"£549.10 Amazon Prime Eligible for FREE UK Delivery.

Seller Information (Amazon.co.uk)"

seems legit heat added

Voted hot as seems the best deal right now from a trusted seller. However, although this isn't a comparison for some who like to pay outright anyway I note this is equivalent to £22.88 a month over 24 months. I think there's more than a fighting chance of getting a 24 month contract deal on Black Friday for under £25 (obviously including data and minutes) which might be better value overall. I'll be holding out but still as I say heat.

You have to click on “New and Used from” and scroll down to see Amazon.co.uk as the seller name.

No. If you go to the right hand side you'll see the one for £549.10 is sold by Amazon. It just shows the one by another seller as the main one because its cheaper

€554 euros which is about £490 + delivery at Amazon.de

You mean €569.

It looks like the prices are falling I will wait for s8+ with bundle to fall
without VR is a bit to much. .

Black Friday offers maybe £500 but no bundles. Screen is most costly item on this.

the s8 down to 25onth on black friday!? nahhh..... surely not!? I dont even think the s7 edge is hitting that low at the moment

Love my s8.....but wish I'd waited for the new note!!!!!.....sxxychocolate, you goonie!!!!!!! ;0)

HEAT. Although I'm not gonna buy it (no need as I have just purchased a new handset) & I'm certainly not going to buy it from Italy or Germany as I don't think it would be as easy to return if there are issues. If I'm wrong about the foreign Amazon customer service & ease of return I'll gladly be corrected if anyone can explain. Thanks

Whats the battery life like on this compared to the s8+ in real usage?

24 month warranty is covered by Samsung UK as part of their EU Bloc coverage.

Your return if faulty is therefore exactly the same as a UK handset, that is no different.

Thanks for that. Is it easy to deal with the Amazon customer service in them countries?

I bought one from Amazon Italy last week for £487. I've also ordered the 2017 VR headset with controller off ebay for £65 so £552 altogether. This is a good price for a UK based retailer though

S7 got to £24 with £35 upfront this time last year. I am being ambitious but don't think it's completely impossible. Even if it came out at £27 or £28 a month still potentially a better deal if decent data. Not pretending to be able to see the future - time will tell.

Was looking at one in JL last week and noticed the display model already had terrible screen burn. The assistant blamed it being on all day but as soon as you stopped playing with it the screen dimmed and blanked very quickly, as it was running some special store display software. So I am not sure how the burn in was so bad.

I think this is a common issue with OLED screens and static images so Apple can look forward to similar issues with the new X.

Rocking the s8 plus and must say loving it so far.

Yes it is

Unless Amazon have a third party account called starcom sellers it's not sold by Amazon

Read the OP description , it says to look on the right hand side of the screen. Thats where you will find various sellers including Amazon.
So , yes , it is sold by Amazon.

£539.99 on Ebuyer...

Would make sure you buy one with a 24 month warranty. There are many with the well known issue of the rear camera focus sticking causing blurred images.
Mine had the problem that was temporarily fixed by tapping the phone to free the focus mechanism every time it stuck. My local Samsung support centre said they had many come with the same issue.
Mine is ok for now after having the camera unit replaced but if and when it will happen again is worrying as it seems to be a manufacturing fault.

post it as deal and you get all the heat.

I always see people use camelcamelcamel to check price history but how reliable is it? I've used it few times but always found that the price history was not accurate.

also what price range should we expect this or the plus model to fall to over the next two months?
