Didn’t think this was too bad a deal - Samsung S8 64gb (choice of colours) phone on a Virgin Media 4gb 1500 mins and unlimited texts plan for £26 a month - 36 month contract (total cost £936). No upfront cost.
Good deal I think if you can’t afford to buy the phone upfront.

Also had it for £23 a month with 1.2gb of data and 300 minutes. Also more expensive plans with more data.

Couldn’t find this deal on HUKD.

Too expensive mate and a 36 months contract for a phone thats nearly a year old is just stupid.

Much better deals than this on the market. Just go to uswitch or other comparison sites and you will find loads at much less about £800 total for a 24 months contract

Lol!!! You thought wrong! Fetch your coat.
Not great. I got mine on EE for 27 a month 5gb data. S9 due out so hold off for better deals.
That's a lot of money for a year old phone that will be 4 years old at the end of the contract
If you do go for this deal or any other s8 deal or note 8 then you can claim a concert ticket or festival ticket up to £140. To claim you open up the Samsung members app and look out for the banner unbox your tickets.

27 for a 0 upfront???
To put things in to perspective I paid 25 up front and £29 a month in November for a 24 month contract and 12gb data a month with o2 via mobiles .co.uk
Imagine you broke this after a week then have to wait 3 years to upgrade lol. Brrrr
Virgin shouldn’t be allowed to sell 36 month contracts... it’s ridiculous, 24 month isn’t great but is manageable. 36 month contracts are clearly targetting people who can’t afford the monthly payments on a 24, but then if the £10-20 difference is that big a deal, I would have to question your priorities...

I’m surprised Ofcom haven’t had something to say about this or do they word it clever like 2 years airtime and the phone handset itself is on credit over 3 years?
36 month contract now!! I thought 24 months was insane but this is crazy. Just buy the phone outright and get a sim free 2 month deal.
S8 is a great phone but getting yourself tied to 3 years contract is insanity.
the days of long term contract is overland thats 24 months..36 months is ridiculous.
I use the Samsung upgrade plan. Its not with your mobile contract. I just get a sim only deal. Then for £30 I get the new phone every year so its no problems. I don't think they'll start it again until the s9 is out though. Last I saw was for the note.

Erm, that's not how it works, it's not a one off payment, you're just financing your next phone over the term of your current contract by paying for it monthly.

Correct me if I'm missing something here: shop.samsung.com/uk/…de/
