These look a great idea, especially now I've come round to the wall mounted idea, since my little girl is growing far too fast! You can grab a free bezel with this model now, which is a nice freebie that lets you colour match. They tend to go £169 - £199 on their own.

The TV specs etc... are on the main "Get deal" link. I have popped some of the main bits below, although it would be a huge OP if I added them all.

Also the 65" version is £1,349 but does NOT come with the free bezel
49" model + Bezel HERE

There's a 5 year guarantee and this model is included in the 10 Year Screen burn Warranty - Info HERE

The bezel bundles are lower down the page. Quick links to those are below

Frame Design
Because it looks like a real frame, The Frame enhances the surroundings, wherever it is.

Art Mode
It allows you to display artwork or your own photos with ease. Select the art pieces you want to see and set the time on how long you want it to be shown on screen.

Brightness Sensor
By detecting the ambient light, the Brightness Sensor automatically balances the screen’s brightness and colour tone to perfectly match a traditional art piece (performance may vary depending on the ambient brightness level).

Motion Sensor
When you’re in the room, the Motion Sensor detects your presence and turns the screen on, so you can enjoy your favourite art while you’re there (operates only in Art Mode, performance may vary depending on the lighting condition).

One Connect Box
The control unit of the Frame is the separate One Connect Box, connected by Near-Invisible optical cable (5m cable supplied, 15m cable sold separately). It can be sited discretely, even hidden from view in a cupboard because the remote control works via Bluetooth. Both Frame TV and One Connect Box connect to mains power via the same plug socket.

If you were paying the premium for a TV like this I'm assuming most would hide the wires in the wall.

This is a ‘one cable’ tv so it has a separate AV box connected via a very thin 5m clear cable...looks fibre optic but it’s not. It carries all signals and power. It’s very cool. I nearly bought this TV but went with the Q7 as it was cheaper, had a better screen, still had an ambient mode which is like the Art Tv mode and at the time was £300 cheaper than Frame TV.

that's nifty
Now you little girl will have something to "marker pen" her art all over on the wall as well... "cheers dad/mum!"

Heat, great price, good late tech, fab hdr+ panel!

Has anyone actually bought this seems a little steep as you can get an Oled for around this price
It appears that the only bezels in stock are beige and walnut, but it’s still a very good deal
Just find a a frame and attach it to any tv or order one to your size.
i dont get these tvs, how do they compare to Qled range? are you paying extra for it to look like a painting?

The reviews I've read suggest that it looks pretty good but it's not up there with the QLED's that you could get in the price range. I reckon you're adding at least 200 quid for the frame functionality.

I really like the idea but I think that gap's got to get a lot smaller before I'd be seriously considering it.

There are also QLED The Frame TVs although they cost a lot more so yes paying extra for The Frame.
Great for watching the snooker on....
Performs worse than the NU8000 which costs considerably less so unless you really need it to look like a frame it seems way overpriced. It's closer to the standard 7 series in performance. Poor viewing angle and only 300 nits of peak brightness seem to go against its purpose as a living picture.

Samsung QLED Q7 for the same price seems like a better TV for the money.

Cant see the art gallery effect working very well if its not an OLED.
My main concern after having my previous Tv wall mounted, would be he height you would need to mount this.
For a "picture" i would expect it to be higher up than the ideal height for viewing your TV.
I didn't think our previous wall mounted TV was too high but ended up with constant neck pain from angling my head.
Since changing back to a TV cabinet haven't had any issues.
LG OLEDs come with a built-in art app. Looks great due to OLEDs very high contrast:-

I think most people nowadays will have a £1000+ main TV, can't imagine they all employed plasterers and decorators etc. to make it work...

I have a 65" OLED, on a cabinet, no messing around - I did wall mounting back in around 2007 when having a flat TV was unusual and it was trendy to do so.

Agreed a lot of people will have a £1000+ TV, but if your looking to stick the TV on a cabinet let's be honest there are bigger and better TV's you can buy. My 58 inch TV cost me £500 so you are paying a premium for having a 50 inch TV that looks like a picture frame. Having cables running up the wall to it just wouldn't make sense. So I can imagine people buying this particular TV will doing plastering and decorating to make it work.

Fair point, but it's actually 55", and similar money to same size OLED and QLED models.

Doh. 55 inch.

And you pay a premium for qled and oled models. This panel is neither. If I was spending my own money i would be leaning towards buying either oled or qled. But if I was buying this TV then me personally I would hide the wires in the wall. Just my opinion.

I don't know about that. I mostly just sit on my sofa and admire the art. Sometimes I just sit there and stare at the blackness.

The new 2019 version is QLED. The 2018 version is good but no where near as good quality as the 2019 QLED which is close to OLED quality.

Close in price, but not much else
The 65" does come with bezel options - £1,299 for plain white or two options for £50 more. Not quite the same range, but still there.

You need to conceal the cables behind the wall or cable trunking, use a flower i front of it. Keep sky box and ps4 in a closed cupboard. It will look beautiful. These framed TVs look amazing. I would love to get one. Hmmmm hmmmm. Stunning.
Most wall mounted tvs are often in the worst places possible. Above the fire to close to the main viewing point and to high . I have no figures but thing the majority do not have any proper surround sound set up either. 65 inch tv without 5.1 7.1 or greater is a waste losing so much immersion in movies

Soundbar will do just fine. You do not need 600 - 1000 pounds sound system. Samsung sound bar with wireless sub works amazing for me. No excessive cables, nice and tidy and this bass hmmmmm. Awesome.

is there no lag? For movies I assume it doesn't matter etc but when playing games do you notice any lag?
