I have this model, the 37" version and would highly recommend it. I paid £359 only a couple of months ago. Even at the previous price it was fantastic value for money!
only 50Hz refresh rate. Is this much of a problem?

Also, I can't find the measurements on the site, and I'm too lazy to look elsewhere. So...

You have to tell yourself that. Best to stop looking at price once you've bought - that way lies 'massive disappointment'.
Good price, good TV.
Just been reading up seems to be a lottery on what panel you get. But get the right one and top tv for the money.
Confused whether to get this or the UE40EH6030K from tesco outlet for £349.99...

The UE40EH6030K is more advanced, 3D with better SMART features. Worth more than the £50 extra it costs.
I have the 46" 5 series and they are excellent TV's for the money. Got mine for £400 at currys a couple month ago. Well worth it if your not bothered about smart/3d (which to be fair is pretty pointless as half of your xbox/pc's/freesat/bluray players have smart stuff built in.

Well as its not 3D theres not really much difference. You find the high refresh rate TVs that arent 3D are trying to be fluid in motion but you find its just a slow but then speeded up framerates throughout anything you watch. But at this price for a decent make TV you cant really go wrong.
very hot. Wished it was smart tv as well
Not a bad deal. I don't care if it's not smart, it's just one big gimmick anyway. However, I am bothered by how chunky this T.V is.
3D is a bit of a gimmick for me, I have two 3D-capable TV but never use the feature. Smart TV on the other hand, anything but a gimmick. Catch-up TV, live streaming, and stream all your media to any TV from one out-of the-way PC. For me Samsung's implementation is among the better ones, I certainly prefer it to Sony and LG. Horses for courses but I wouldn't but a new telly now without smart features.

Says it is not a Smart TV?
Brilliant store Richer Sounds is. Five year warranty on top is just £29.95.
Ordered, thanks!
I've got the 32" version, love it! Works great with the PS3, the HD Freeview is great and it plays everything I throw at it via the USB!

Nicer link.Me thinks getting a retailer to honour those rules if proven would be slim to none
Question??

Can you connect a laptop to a tv via a Hdmi port to view photos?
Good price but its Samsung so get a 5 year warrenty as thier sets are beset by capacitor problems, usually just after 2/3 years.

I had a samsung lcd 46 inch a couple of years ago, half the screen went after 2 years, bought from dabs, contacted samsung, they verified with engineer and got pro rata money back thats 4/6 back. Initially they were usual get lost but when you tell them your rights they soon cough up, now have a 3d backlit led of same make, size which is superb. Persevere it works........

Makes a huge difference if you use it as a monitor and connect your computer. 50Hz is just not good enough then.
Might buy one for the loo, thanks.

you can also get the company you bought from to reimburse you the same way, they should be your first port of call since your contract is actually with them, if they are no longer in existence I suggest using 'chargeback' via your payment card. They HAVE to reimburse you for goods failing under normal conditions, basically means that certain items should /have to last for a certain time.

are samsung tvs really that much better than a budget 1080p tv? i've seen 42inch 1080p tvs under £250
I only just ordered the 32" version from John Lewis yesterday, price matched at £249. Had a look at the TV in currys at the weekend at was pretty impressed. I think i'll stay with the 32" for the 5 year warranty and the fact i think the 37" might be too big for where i'd put it. Heat added though.

Don't suppose any of you have found the dimensions for the 37" anywhere have you? It'll put my mind at rest and the only dimensions i've been able to find for it says it's 73.8cm wide which is incorrect as thats the width of the 32".
