Ecobubble™ technology is one of Samsung's brilliantly useful features designed to make laundry less of a chore. Mixing air, water and detergent, it cleverly creates bubbles that wash your clothes at cooler temperatures, helping you to bring down your energy bills.
Get the same footprint washing machine but with an extra 2kg drum inside! Thanks to a complete interior redesign, this washing machine now holds a large drum boasting a whooping 11kg capacity while the outside dimensions stays the same

Hygiene Steam
When it comes to deep-down cleaning, not all washing machines are up to the job. So it’s good to know that Hygiene Steam on your Samsung washing machine banishes the things you can see and those you can’t – bacteria, pollen, dust mites and more. The steam is released upwards to make sure every last item gets a deep and even clean. The results? 99.9% of bacteria are obliterated and allergens inactivated. No pre-soaking, no hassle, no worries.

Drum Clean
Looking for the cleanest clothes? It all starts with a sparkling washing machine. Drum Clean+ keeps the inside of your washing hygienically clean with a combination of soaking, pulsating and high-speed spinning that removes 99.9% of odour-causing bacteria from the drum, without using any detergents. And it even reminds you after 40 washes to run a cleaning cycle. The best news? Good maintenance will save you some money in the long run.

StayClean Drawer
Keep your detergent flowing freely through your washing machine and get cleaner clothes with the StayClean Drawer. Targeted jets of water rinse away build-up in the drawer so you don’t have to. And because it keeps your washing machine in great shape, your clothes get thoroughly and hygienically cleaned every time.

Bubble Soak
Meal time mess or grass stains? Whether it's cotton, synthetics or baby clothes, add a 30-minute bubble soak to your wash. Then let Samsung's unique ecobubble™ technology go deep into the fabrics to loosen stubborn stains. You'll love how brilliant it gets your whites.

Digital Inverter Technology
Happy laundry days. Here’s a quiet washing machine that’s built to last, has all the power you need, cuts down noise, and still uses less energy than a typical washing machine – so it’s kinder on your wallet too. It’s all thanks to Samsung's Digital Inverter Technology ramping up the performance, not the noise. And the added bonus? The components and engineering are backed by a 10 year warranty, giving you peace of mind for years to come.

Heard a lot of negativity on other Samsung washing machine threads, anyone have this and can comment on the reliability?

Also what's with the dimensions, net depth 60cm, then it states with protrusions 630cm. Exactly how big is this thing?!

I have the Samsung washing machine for 5 years. The circuit board stopped working after 5 years warranty period. We use the washing machine twice a day on average as we have two babies so lots of clothes need to be washed. Hard to tell if it’s reliable or not, as we need to replace it after 5 years but we did have a lot use on it.

Better than my Bosch. Lasted 2 months outside of warranty then beyond economical repair. PCB failure. Checked and saw it was made in Turkey. It appears that it’s just the ‘premium’ ones that are made in Germany. Think all these lower end range ones are rebranded crap.

On another note, had a ‘cheap’ Zanussi that lasted 8 years no problem.

Do you need to be a member and pay the online membership for £15 to buy this?

Been looking at this for a while - was £404 on Samsung site with blue light card, and £499 everywhere else.

So for £379 this is a great price - and also rated as a top buy in good housekeeping, tho never sure with reviews how many are paid for!

There's no adwash on this machine, something to consider

I have the exact same machine. Bought it last year for £470. Can say it is a very good machine.

Good to hear, seems a bargain at this price.

Do you know if appliances are available to buy and collect in store at the same prices? (subject to stock, obviously)
    cheesemane's avatar
Turns out they are, though stock varies considerably between stores, and there's no (obvious) way to check stock before going.

Goddamnit, I just bought the 9kg version for £420 a few weeks ago.
Though that being said, if we had the 11kg the missus would load it right up and our 9kg tumble wouldn't keep up.

Have had Samsung washing machines for the last 8 years (ecobubble 9kg) - no complaints. Only reason for having more than one was I sold the last house to a guy who insisted on buying the machine with the house. I don't know if there are better available , but our current model (bought for around £400) was purchased 6 years ago and hasn't had any issues yet.

Maybe he really just wanted the machine so bought the house as well. Did you check it did not have gold bar weights in it instead of concrete?

My samsung 9kg has been going strong for 5 years now.

Hi, can anyone kindly tell me the spin speed on the short 15 wash cycle please?
    diktiomenos's avatar
The default is 800rpm, and it lets you increase it up to 1200rpm. This adds 3 minutes to the cycle time.

    Really bargain, just ordered

Anyone know it this has time delay feature?
  14. jumbosausage's avatar
Thanks OP ordered. 11kg, decent brand and retailer, 5 year warranty. What's not to like.
