I don't think you can get this model cheaper. Can you get higher CMR for the same price? If not, cold is harsh, given that different people have different budgets and expectations. Judging by your comment, every HUKD should be the top model?

I bought this from ebuyer last week for £299. Fantastic TV, really clear picture and HD looks awesome.

Not sure why people claim motion blur is bad, looks amazing to me.

Oh and you can plug an external hard drive into it with photos and music on it, and it will play back photos whilst playing music you choose on the hard drive as background music!

Will also play movies from an external too. Awesome tv.

Looks good and the accident protection at ebuyer is £43.49 for 3 years compared to £84.25 at Hughes. Going to do some research as I am close to buying this one from ebuyer ebuyer lg but this could be better, thanks op.

cheap, but 50hz sucks, cold

It's an excellent TV.

feel free to provide links to a better model for less money...

try and be constructive as slating TV's which people have purchased and are providing good feedback on is unhelpful.

A bargain, and it has Freeview HD built in.

So tempted... and with Quidco cashback it brings the price down to £279.35 !!!

Good find. Heat added.

50HZ Cold....Motion blur will be bad

That's absolutely ridiculous if you voted cold cos the telly is 50Hz. This is a good deal for this TV at the moment!
The fact that it's 50Hz doesn't necessarily mean that motion blur will be bad. That may be the common misconception, but I've heard several times that on certain TVs it's not as bad as people think.

Poor review on Amazon.
Same price less code @ Richer Sounds so maybe they will price match?
Also £299 at ebuyer etc... nothing special..
but slightly better price than rival stores; so HOT!!!

hot! bought this last month from richersound for 300! have some heat! X)

British TV is broadcast at 50hz. What difference will a higher refresh rate make? On computer panels I thought the key thing used to be the response time in ms instead?

Same here, got this from Richers Sounds a couple weeks back for £299.. Great TV for the price..

Christ some people are never happy, look at the price for god sake its LED Full HD.

You hit the nail on the head, i watched one of the Lord Of The Rings Trilogy the other day on this model on Blue Ray & could see individual blades of grass so motion blur, I also wathed Transformers 1080p & that would show motion blur Big... time but did not. If you have this Tv Smile & be pleased you got it

Give heat/cold on the deal, not the product

Can anyone confirm the physical size of this set? Looking at the spec it says 738mm wide but another site lists it as 867mm wide. The one would fit in the space i have and the other would not without some minor modifications to the set.

Wow I can't believe you can get a 37inch LCD 1080p TV for 290.99!

Does anyone know how gaming performs on this? I know that input lag is supposed to be 16ms which is good for a big home TV but just wondering about other gaming factors

Not sure what the ms is on this tv, but I've played games on it and it's fantastic.

Bear in mind these kind of things are only really noticeable on huge tv's.

They might be superior...but then again, they might not. Is Samsung's 840 SSD better than the 830, for example? One would hope.

I have to laugh at the 50hz comments, people need to read up on how LCD TVs work.

Cheaper here by £15 if anyone's interested at £275 247electronics.co.uk/vie…087

Thanks for that it wasn't my friend when I was searching lol, appreciate that.
Still think ebuyer is the better option if you are going to get an extended warranty.
Edited by: "lugsy3" 14th May 2013

A few Richer Sounds stores have them at £299.95. They say they will price match plus a fiver. Their 5 year warranty is £29.95. I'm hovering over the buy button at Hughes Direct.
