    Go for this over a 5+. They try to be too clever for their own good.
    Weighs the washing and changes wash time. Previous series 4 or 5 we had had a daily wash setting which took 1:02 whatever we chucked in it. Maybe we were putting too much in for that particular program but everything still came out clean.

    Are these noisy?; our LG Direct Drive machine makes a right racket!

    The 5+ is quite a bit quieter than my old one. Can't think there would be much difference in the motor etc. itself between the 5 and 5+, more the 'smart' features that bump up the price I think.
