thats what i tell the missus!:-D:thumbsup:

What 28 day warranties???

"30. All electrical products are covered by a twelve month manufacturer's warranty. If your product develops a fault while under warranty, please contact Play.com and we will advise you where to send it for repair. It is a "return to base" warranty therefore there will be a delivery charge to return the product back to the relevant UK service centre."

28 days is not a warranty I think its something to do with the minimum rights of the buyer to return the item if its not what they thought it was, there was something on the news or panarama in the last week about it stating that most online shops mislead people of their rights. Sounds like its still confusing to some but they seem to have it right.

that was my point. Play only cover the item for 28 days and then just give you a telno for the manufacturer and leave it to you to sort out. Wouldnt be cheap to send a 46" LED TV back to the manufacturer with damage protection! I would never dream of buying anything over £50 from play

thats why play.com is based in the channel islands. Normal UK law doesnt apply.

The 28 days sounds like your rights under the distance selling regulations.

Either way, Play haven't covered themselves in glory for me over the Xmas period though

Shows up as £1229.99 for me.

I guess it's expired
