Ice cold

OK, I've got series 7, telly is good, but remote controller is s*it, bottom right (on tv) there is a sensor, if you point on left top corner of TV it does not work!!! Is it normal?, I find samsung's remotes very annoying, you must press buttons very hard, and they are big. Series 6 remote controller looks different (slightly) but works better (tried @PCWORLD). Please help, any one got 7's series?
THX.

Now I have on a couple of occasions in the past seen fairly good deals on QVC, but it is mighty rare.

Every week, you post QVC "deals," almost every week they are voted icy cold.

Today, another one - What in your wildest dreams makes you think this is a good deal - it is obviously vastly overpriced :-(

Yep would vote cold as well, however you do pay a premium with qvc due to the fact with the interest free payments on some items, and the 30 day money back jobbie, though you do have to pay the postage to send back, so you will lose sixty pounds in this case if you didnt like or want it. Though looking at the remote control picture, it looks like an awful remote.

IT is just on QVC as I write this! If you need 4 payments (that's how many it is on) to buy something like this, especially if your credit is that bad, and it is the only way you can mange to get it, then the last thing in life you need is a 900 quid telly! :-(

As you say, sending it back is VERY expensive - look at the models you might want in a shop first... then buy it where it is cheapest, oline or wherever - because 60 quid delivery is obviously designed to make sending it back not something you would do unless you were REALLY put off it when it arrived!
