How small is your room!!! come to think of it how small are you. 21" sized room, you must live in a box.

I purchased one of these from EBuyer on 21st December and it was actually £4 cheaper then (I also purchased a DVI cable which wasn't needed as the monitor came with all cables)

Great looking monitor though, crisp, clear, no dead pixels, slight fiddle to turn it off as the on /off button isn't actually a button and you have to touch the bottom right hand edge next to the blue light (there are symbols but can't see 'em when the monitor is on).

Worth heat and rep though

Bought the 20" version about a month ago for ~115 from Ebuyer.. amazing picture and no dead pixels...

As said above, it came with both cables included in the box.

forgive me if this is a stupid question, but I take it you can watch telly through this, if so how, also can you get remote controls for these so you can change channels?

This is a computer monitor, not a tv. You can watch the TV through it if your computer has a tv card or usb dongle attached to it (the remote will come with the card or usb stick).

Only if the player/PVR has a DVI or VGA out so i would have to say no......

but if watching TV through a TV connect via VGA or DVI then yes....

I bought a 23'' Samsung the other day for £129.99

I guess it's much cheaper because it doesn't have a DVI socket.
However, if you are gonna use a 15 pin dsub Standard monitor cable you may want to have alook at this.

I've had the monitor for a while, and if I'm watching a film, or have a black border (or all black screen, at boot up) I get lighter areas on the bottom right of the screen.

It's like the the desplay is letting the backlight through when it should not be.

Never had this with my last 19" Samsung.

Just wondered if this is an issue with the model, as it's quite cheap.

I've got a fitted corner unit (Pain in the derriere) and the space for the monitor is at most 49 cm wide. Grr. Got about 3 feet behind it though rofl, since I took my CRT out
