Samsung Smartthings Power Outlet - £22.50 @ Amazon

Not a bad price for anyone looking for one of these, 2 - 4 weeks for dispatch but as anyone who shops at Amazon knows, this is often not the case and goods will arrive sooner.

It’s to remotely switch items on and off from SmartThings and track energy consumption

A smart plug that you use with a Samsung Smartthings Hub. I specifically need this to use as a zigbee repeater to reach my shed at the end of the garden as the hub is at the front of the house.
Not to cheapest it's been.
I was tempted to get another about 2 weeks ago when they went back on sale they were £17.99 for about 2 days.
But I'm not convinced they've fixed the fault causing them to blow under high loads in certain models.
I use mine for a very low powered device now
I like the design and size of the unit, I find the TP link ones to be far to big for close together sockets. But this being said the fact that some have been blowing under load is a concern.

I think they need to drop in price as well still, also why the hell has someone not released a Smart enabled power gang!!! Come on already!

I have not managed to get it to track energy use, only current usage. (got 4 Heiman z-wave switches, work with SmartThings out of the box and are cheaper)

Wow, I must have missed that deal!
Was that at Amazon? I would have bought a couple at that price

not in my experience, I shop on amazon a LOT and it's ALWAYS the last possible date noted or a few days after for me. I usually get a voucher or a month of prime added on if it's beyond the last day though.

Never knew that. For me it's always been less than the lowest estimate. Guess I've just been lucky. Kinda hoping that it will be more than 4 weeks then if I can get a free month of Prime!
TP link 200 is better and standalone

TP link 200 is better and standalone

Think you might have missed the point there. The fact that this plug is not standalone and integrates seamlessly with Smartthings is the whole point!
I'm sure there is a device handler out there for the TP Link 200 (as I myself am using a a TP Link HS110, because the Smartthings version was so expensive).
As mentioned previously, the reason I want the Samsung version is to act as a zigbee repeater/extender out to the shed at the end of my garden.
