Not a fan of Smartthings but I didn't think £10 each was a bad price, Amazon Prime

Presence Sensors have sold out but still buy one get one free on other items

Xiaomi sensors with a Smartthings hub is a great combination. I’ve found the Xiaomi sensors much more reliable with ridiculously good battery life. You need to be prepared to get a bit techy to set them up but it’s well documented on the Smartthings community

Bargain, ordered, cheers!
Not just them it's all the SmartThings devices including motion sensor
Just don't forget that your phone works as presence sensor as well. But good for keys, kids, dogs etc.
The presence sensor is junk, mobile phone works better on that front. But two motion sensors for £15 is very good value, they were £17.99 around BF/Cyber Monday IIRC.
can this thing act as a Key finder i.e. make a bleeping noise so i can find my keys? ... assuming its attached to my keys of course
Although my mother in law can't have a presence sensor on her phone without a lot of hassle so these are perfect. Thanks

If you want to find your keys about 10 minutes after you realised they were lost, yes. They can do that. It's just incredibly unreliable.

I do find some ST sensors are unit specific though - I've got one motion sensor that's really reliable, another that's pretty hit and miss. So it may be worth a punt.
Conversely, just installing the ST app and using the phones with geofencing (to turn lights on/off) has proved more effective than I expected.
Thanks op. Got the motion sensors for a bargain
Gopd price but I've got the smartthings set up at home, been running it 2 months and just don't rate it. I love tech but I'm selling mine, I'd rather use the Xiaomi kit.

Isn’t it 3 motion sensors for £60, so £20 each? Or did I miss 2 for £15 (each I assume)?

I resisted, I have enough Xiaomi sensors really, only have one motion sensor, but it's just so I know if someone breaks in.
Interested to know why you’re not a fan of SmartThings?

You have to be doing something wrong, no other home automation kit is as complete or flexible as ST from my experience (and wasting a lot of money on alternatives). I don’t use many ST sensors, but the fact it works with the vast majority of ZigBee and Zwave sensors really makes it for me.

Terrible reviews for reliability

Purchase 2 or more Samsung offered by Amazon.co.uk and get 1 of them free. Which is BOGOF in normal speak.

I'm interested in the Xiaomi website, would you mind sharing a link to the ones you purchased?
What's great about SmartThings is the ability to add 3rd party devices. I have Xiaomi sensors, IKEA and hue bulbs, a WiFi plug all controllable via SmartThings. Just need a bit of tech savvy to set them up as mentioned above.
I've only bought presence sensors simply because there are no alternatives and they are much more reliable and convenient than mobile phone. The rest of the Samsung sensors are either too expensive or sometimes not reliable.

Because it's true. Cheap Xiaomi sensors for 5 quid each work flawlessly. I have more than 20. Never single issue. Original Samsung sensors for 30 quid each are disappearing by itself without any reason

Which plugs do you use?

It's a generic "wifi smart plug" which you can integrate with smart things via the "Smart Life" IFTTT service. More info here: community.smartthings.com/t/h…1/7

I bought one for about £6 from geekbuying.com. There are various "wifi smart" on Amazon, mine is the type with the purple looking switch at the top.
Bought a couple of multi sensors for the tilt and acceleration sensing. Good for the garage door and washing machine.
They're back again. Snatched up 2, my girlfriend has been using the one from the starter kit since before Christmas and it's worked well so far.
Just got two presence sensors. I just need them when the are guests. Currently I use tasker and sharptools with smartthings to provide very reliable presence. Most other sensors I have are Xiaomi.
