Basically this is a Samsung version. This is also a non HD version, I would prefer this over JVC but both seem to be good deal imo.

Noooo the price is £79.99, the 20% discount has been applied to the product already, making it £63.97. Please correct price!

The price online says £63.97 (and no indication that it has been discounted already, thus price shown is marked price?), so checkout should be different, but its not So technically they're telling porkies really.

I reserved one for collection last night. It goes with the other offer around for samsung bag and battery at 0.97p. I bought 3 of those yesterday(for the bags) but then realised the batteries were for this camera. So Ill have 3 spare batteries for £2.97!

its a great camera for price. Not HD but HD cameras dont have great optical zooms usually. This does.

GREAT DEAL. BETTER THAN THE JVC IN MY OPINION. REVIEWS SEE GOOD TOO

ALSO DOES STILLS WHICH JVC DOESNT DO

FOR £0.97 YOU CAN GET Camcorder Accessory Kit - Case & Battery, for Samsung H200/F40 Camcorder

good price, I paid £140 for this back in november...

yes bad wording but I believe it is already discounted

great find

So would you recommend this one over the JVC?

Bought mine today. Luckily i reserved mine last night. Assistant told me they had sold a few today and were out of stock. Mind you it is the same price at Dixons/PCWorld.

Find it a bit small for my big hands but mainly bought it for the children to use. Won't allow them near my other expensive camcorder.

What memory card do you use/recommend and where to get them at a decent price. Also what class card was it? Class 6 or 10?

Thanks

I was really tempted by this but my experience of Currys is that they really should sell pork pies. However £63.97 LESS 20% was too good to miss. So when the "automatic discount" off the "marked price" failed to materialise I did a few screen prints and fired off an email. And have just received an email saying they're refunding me the 20%. Worth a go if they stung you too.
