Samsung SSG-5100GB/XC Active Shutter 3D Glasses (New for 2013) £12.50 for one set @ Amazon
£12.50Amazon Deals
Cheapest I have seen so far. I have been hunting around for 3D glasses for my new Samsung UE46F6320 TV. Two SSG-5100GB came with my TV but I need two more. I think they can be used on other Panna and LG TV as well.
I heard they work better in rooms which are not well lit, but I think they are really good for the price and the batteries also last quite long.
If anyone has any better deal please let me know.
I am adding the list of TVs which will work with these glasses here. Please feel free to edit/add.
1) Samsung UE46F6320
2) Panasonic TX-P55ST50B
3) Panasonic ST50
4) F8000
5) Epson EH-TW5200 3d projector
6) UE6740
7) Panasonic TX-P50GT60

I guess a return to Amazon is always possible if it's not a pair.
Where does it say a "pair of glasses"? This can't mean one...
In the product description, but I am sure its just one. Still an ok price.
Follow link for explanation.

I still think this is a good price for 1 pair. Used to be around £14 a pair.
Correct!
two sets can be found here... amazon.co.uk/Sam…e_0
Misleading title really
50p more on your web link although same supplier I think
Thanks, that does actually help me! Been putting off buying 3d Glasses for a while now.
Are these rechargeable? Or does it need a fresh pair of batteries each time the juice runs out? Also what type of batteries do they take?
I think so. I have read somewhere that they work on LG plasma TVs with active 3D, check out the Q&A on the Amazon web link for the glasses. Also check out the review
I found this video. Does it offer the same value?
They will need battery but I have been told they last long. They take coin batteries and are quite cheap to buy.

The rechargeable ones are heavier/less comfy and more expensive.
I have read in one of the comments that it might do as they all use 100Hz technology. (Projectors work at 144Hz which is different and hence won't work)
I think you can also check on Sony forum or post a question on Amazon. Some people are quite helpful there. Or you can also order and check if it works. If it doesn't you can always return them I think, may be don't remove the film on the glass to keep it in unused condition.
Can you post link from a UK seller?
think i paid £2-£3 for 50 batteries on ebay
Great price, but hardly worth buying them
HEAT added anyway.
This is not the place for this kind of question... especially when you can copy and paste that into google!
BTW Heat added as these tend to be much pricier... need to check if they work on the new Sony W8 50".
This might help

One set of glasses has two glass lens which I why it says pair. You get only one set
Thanks very helpful unlike the other guy!
Maybe you have different ones? The battery hatch on these has no electrical contacts, so opening it doesn't make a difference; they continue to operate with it open, unless you also pop the battery out. They do have an on/off switch too; mine last ages on a single battery (specification is something like 20 hours). Just a thought, but perhaps it's your bargain batteries that don't have as much as longevity as some other brands.
It says the battery last 40 hours in the description. But I read comments that they last upto 100hours. Even 20hours is like 20-25 movies which is not bad. I don't think there are that many 3D movies around but there will be more in the future.
Anyway, does anyone (who doesn't fit into the above category) know if these will work with an Optoma HD131XE ?
This is a projector. I think the projectors work at 144Hz. These glasses are for TV which work on 100Hz shutter rate. Please double check this on the internet, don't take my word for it.
I think I have seen the 144Hz on eBay which work with projectors.

This is a Chinese supplier but you should able to find UK ones.
You can still order the ones I have posted and return it if it doesn't work.
This is a UK supplier

Thanks for the reply! I've just done a quick bit of research and my HD131XE projector seems to run on "120Hz DLP®- Link" so these glasses won't work for me. Shame - I would much rather glasses from Samsung than dodgy chinese ones (at this price).
