My thoughts exactly!!

it does;-)

Voted hot as is a good deal, decent manufacturer, large screen good price!

Beware that this screen only goes up to 1050, and not 1080 so it isn't HDCP (High Def Content protection) compliant

I got the 20" montior with the 2ms respone time. good monitor

Whats the backlight bleed like on this? I had the Pebble before and the backlight bleed was terrible, had to return it.

Why do they always have to be black.

Yeah, it is amazing how many things are black! I had to really hunt for a white Samsung LCD then again they only have white for some models. In the end I had to pay more and compromise as few people and I want to have eveything black around the house. The world would be grim if everything were black, brown, blue and grey which used to be the standard colours worn by men in UK. I remembered the days when M&S men's section had only those colours. Luckily there are more colours. It is really quite hard to find a LCD TV that is not black or grey. Come on manufacturers, if you are reading this and I know they do as they do research on sites like this for consumer habits, there are loadsa people who want to be different and want different colours and that is why people buy skins for their electronics.

mine got delivered last night, its not amazing but for the money i cant complain as it's huge compared to my 17" dell, slight glow along the top of the screen but changing the screen setting has made a big diffrence, still gets an A+++++

HDCP has nothing to do with the size of a screen.

This is HDCP compliant and will descramble any content if companies ever get around to putting this technology into place.

Rather than reposting... This is now £159.99 inc free delivery. You might want to ammend the price?

Can someone tell me if this can be used as a TV.

Also it would be great if you can help on whats the difference between Monitor which can be used as a TV & a TV??

Does anyone have any experience with this monitor, I can't find many details about it on the internet. The specs seem similar to some of the other Samsung 22" screens, is this an older model?

I have the 20" model of this screen and it's excellent!

How are we to know this is a good deal for this screen. It only seems to be them that are selling it!

It isn't even on the Samsung website!

Great - thanks will sort now. As an aside how do I vote this hot - new user etc etc etc

This even has DVI, awesome!! hotttttt

It is cheap as it is a TN panel i.e. color shifts at angles. But still a good deal, if thats not a problem for you.

I think I bought mine from ebuyer :?

No actually I bought mine from laptopsdirect. It is a very good looking screen has DVI & VGA ports I believe.

It has a nice sleek black shine to it similar to a PS3. The picture quality is great and Samsung are known for there quality LCD panels.

I bought mine for £180 a few months back.

:roll:Bought for F-in-law, looking forward to seeing how good it is. Thanks, added heat

what inputs does this monitor have ???
could i connect my sky box via audio/video leads >>>>????

just standard vga and dvi inputs i guess so if you want to use sky box you will need some kind of VGA converter box which costs arround £20 of ebay

Is this any better then my "Current" model sammy Syncmaster 205BW a previous great buy from here a while back???

play.com/PC/…e=0

£149 i paid for it and love it to bit's!!!! but was after 2" extra:thumbsup:

Has anyone noticed that this screen has a whiny noise (high pitched buzz) from the back when using???

I got one a few days back and its got this audible buzz (I'm using DVI-D connection to a DVD player)

Any ideas??

Send it back!? Or at least check all cables are firmly plugged in first.

now 158.62 !
