Welcome to HotUKDeals yozzer319 and Thanks for your first post!

This isn't released until 30th April but good find

Just to add, this deal at Play was mentioned in the below post earlier today, there is also another place mentioned that may get stock sooner, and priced at £235 plus delivery:

Great monitor at a great price.

I can't believe I paid £400 for my Dell 20" WS only a few months ago.

Does anyone have any update on the Panel lottery (S & A) scheme on this model?

Apparently the PC pro reviewed model had S(Samsung) panel but most of production models (esp ones sold in Asia Pacific area) are A (AOU) panels which are apparently not as good as Samsung panels.

If anyones already got one of these, could you please indicate the Panel.

i brought the same monitor (well panel anyway) a few weeks ago...but i brought the daewoo version in ipod white....awesome

This might sound like a daft question but are these monitors capable of High Definition?

If anyone wants almost 200 user reviews of this monitor, click below....

From these reviews is this extract:

I'd like to set the whole A-panel VS S-panel thing to rest, if that's possible after all the hype. I bought two of these panels at the same time, one is an "A", the other "S". They are visibly identical and I would not be able to tell them apart except for the serial number on the rear. After some studious testing, I could not perceive any difference whatsoever between the display quality of one over the other. I believe a previous reviewer's observation that the only difference is the place of manufacture to be correct. In other words, don't worry if it's an "A" panel or an "S" panel.

I have the 20" version on order, will have to wait and see which panel I get....

I've had one of these monitors since 21st March.
I brought 3 from Amazon @ £246.75 each.

Very nice monitor. All 3 were S panels, and no dead pixels. :-D

Amazon now have them at £244.34 each.
I ordered on 14th March and received on 21st March (even though it said 4 -6 weeks).

are these hd ready

Unofficially yes, but they don't have HDMI or component inputs. They support a native resolution of 1680x1050, so up to 720p stretched or 1:1. Don't expect to use it for terrestrial TV.

ah ryt cool

Thought I would give this thread a bump, must be **** loads of poeple waiting for this to come into stock?
Anyone know how the supply from samsung is going? weeks? months? lol

Looks like Play have got this in stock....mine is processing...WOO HOO!!! :-D
