Transfer in A Flash, Secure with A Touch
Whether you're storing critical business documents, games, or movies, the Portable SSD T7 Touch gives you speed and security in a palm-sized package. Experience the next level of external storage, with 1TB of capacity.

Fingerprint Security
Keep your private files secure without sacrificing convenience. The built-in security options on the T7 Touch utilise AES 256-bit encryption and give you the option of unlocking with a touch of your finger or with a password.

Blazing Fast Storage
Transfer massive files in seconds with the incredible speed of USB 3.2 Gen 2 on the T7 Touch. With read/write speeds of up to 1,050/1,000 MB/s, the T7 Touch is 9.5x faster than an external hard disk drive* (HDD) and twice as fast as the T5**

*Performance may vary depending on host configuration. To reach maximum read/write speeds of up to 1,050/1,000 MB/s, respectively, the host device and connection cables must support USB 3.2 Gen 2 and the UASP mode must be enabled.
**Based on internal test results compared to a Samsung external HDD 1TB(HX-MTD10EA). Test system configuration: ASUS Z370 ROG MAXIMUS X APEX (USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C), Intel® Core i7-8700K CPU @ 3.70GHz(Coffeelake), OS-Windows 10 RS6.

LED Status Indicator
The T7 Touch features an LED square that illuminates to keep you informed of what your SSD is doing at a glance. The LED lights turn on and off and rotates during data transfers.

Built Strong
Unlike HDDs, the T7 Touch SSD has no moving parts so it's more resistant to shock. Plus, its solid aluminium unibody construction adds further protection, keeping your data safe from falls of up to 6 ft*. The T7 Touch is confidently backed by a 3-year limited warranty**.

*Based on an internal free fall shock test conducted under controlled conditions.
**For more information on the warranty, please visit samsung.com/sup…ort

Sleek and Compact Style
Roughly the size of a credit card and only weighing 2 ounces, the T7 Touch fits comfortably in the palm of your hand and is light enough to take your files on the go. Finished in classic black.

Simple Setup
The T7 Touch comes embedded with software to help you set up a password and fingerprints. Get the latest firmware updates from your PC, Mac, or Android mobile devices. You can also download the mobile app for Android smartphones and tablets.

*Software requires Windows 7 and higher, Mac OS X 10.10 and higher, or Android 5.1 (Lollipop) and higher. Older versions of the Windows, Mac, and Android operating systems may not be supported.
**Firmware update requires PC or Mac and internet connection. Android app available on Google Play.

Multi-Device Compatibility
The T7 Touch is compatible with PC, Mac, Android devices, gaming consoles, and more. Included in the box are USB Type C-to-C and Type C-to-A cables for added convenience.

*Compatibility with host devices may vary. Some operating systems may require T7 Touch reformatting. Please find the compatible devices list on samsung.com/sup…ort.
**T7 Touch is compatible with USB 3.0 and USB 2.0.

I'm sure the Mrs will figure out how to retrieve one of your fingerprints very quickly ..

Bear in mind that if the Samsung propreitary electronics/fingerprint fail …Bear in mind that if the Samsung propreitary electronics/fingerprint fail for any reason (i.e. you scratch/crack the glass of the fingerprint reader having it loose in a bag, you won't get your data back by opening the device, pulling out what's inside (NVMe SSD) attempting to connect it to a PC using the standard interface.Encryption is a double edged sword on USB Devices like this. Always have a backup.

Watch the Videos on YouTube of some unboxings and setting up

You have a third option in setting up, to choose ‘Fingerprint and Password’,

I presume if your f/print fails, this will be your backup.

I think you're right, and I have a feeling you will get the 1TB. Shame this is pre-order, they have plentyu of time to figure out the mistake and change it.
Voted hot despite more than likely this is a mis-price. Hopefully those ordering will get the 1TB.
Took a punt. Not fussed if its rejected.
there is only 2 weeks of tracking on camelcamelcamel

Whats it matter what Amazon says or Camel . Camel isnt reliable anyway plus its now only going to tell you what you can already see as there is no history. Just google the thing and that will give you an indicator of actual price. Either way, you dont want it otherwise youd buy it at this price.
Take a punt...
We'll see
Handy to keep the lodger away from our pic collection

Remember TrueCrypt from years ago. Used it for years then suddenly the developers stopped updating for a while, and one day announced they won't continue with the project any more because they realised there is some unfixable security vulnerbility in the software.
If will be more expensive I return it.
this is amazon new product promotion. this is the best way to do it. orders will be canceled.
