Great Tablet , plus a lot of custom roms (for those intrested ) that go up to Android 7.1 !
Excellent tablet for internet or watching movies with great battery life Not so good for gaming
Good tablet, typing on it now after picking up a £125 refurb from argos a few weeks ago. £179 is a good price for new

Just bought from John Lewis. They price matched as I thought with Argos guarantee was 12 months so I thought the 2 yr warranty was worth forgoing the voucher! I may have slipped up!!!
It says USB 2.0. That can't be right, can it? Surely just micro SD?

It has a micro USB port and the cable for it is USB 2.0.

Has micro SD port also.

Bought this last week from Argos for 199. ☹
Good tablet, a little basic but very good battery life, screen and performance. Mine does have a small wi-fi issue though where the connection seems to die occasionally.
We also had WiFi problem, ended up sending it back, very weak signal! Non existent in kitchen
Superb tablet love everything about it
Great price and spec for a branded tablet.
I got this tablet. Very good value for the money. Have received the official 7.0. OTA update. Heat added for the price.
How does this compare to a Z3 Compact tablet in terms of browsing speed, etc

16gb is very little nowadays if you put on a lot of apps. Spend extra and get a 32GB
Great tablet for browsing and watching movies anywhere with wifi access. 2GB RAM is too small for gaming.
Great tablet, especially for children! Movies look amazing on it! Highly recommended and great price. It's not been this low for quite a while.

maybe you could return it back if you have not opened it, or contact argos customer support and ask for a concession in good faith?
I got an Argos refurb for 125 quid delivered yesterday. Looks brand new. Loving it as a holiday tablet for the kids to play and watch films on.

I also picked a returned one up, looks brand new, not a mark on it and accessories were still sealed in original packaging. Great buy for £125

Amazing tablet if you use it for browsing, shopping and media (Netflix, Sky Q, NowTV, Amazon Video etc..).

To be honest, you would be wasting money if you bought a higher spec, but only do these activities.
Do I go for this one or save £80 and go for the Lenovo? hotukdeals.com/dea…451

Struggling to decide. It'll be used for movies/streaming and browsing and not a lot else.
Looks good as going on Samsung website says it has ac Wi-Fi so if you are on one of the faster Broadbands ,( e.g. Virgin) 200mb speed should be possible. Also Samsung website says plug in memory supported to 200GB so reasonable storage capacity compared to Apple equivalents, for less than £200
For this £, I'd be looking for a second hand Tab S2 with a warranty. I picked up my Tab S2 8" for only £190 from CeX.

The Samsung is Full HD, 1080 so higher resolution, better for viewing videos and is ac Wi-Fi if you have fast broadband( e.g. up to say 200mb speed, but if a cheap less than 50mb broadband you may not notice any difference) so a much higher spec.
Very heavy piece of kit, I dropped mine and broke the screen. It would have cost £180 to repair so I shot it with my air rifle and put it in the bin, it was still talking even in the dustbin. Now have a Samsung Tab S2, much lighter and faster.

Shame there's no deals on the 7.0 version? After one for the kids and feel the 10.1 will be too big??

The 7" is on offer too but at £109 (+ £10 voucher) for a 8GB model it doesn't seem great value. Probably better off with Amazon Fire or a cheaper Lenovo.

They have them on their ebay outlet - but they're £149 currently. £145 @ Tesco eBay store. Doesn't really seem worth it

I wouldn't buy one or recommend one after the hassle we had with ours..

Argos I think it was £240.
I just bought one, I guess it can't be worse than my old super-slow iPad 2...
