All Samsung tablets have a 2 year warranty as standard regardless of where you buy them from.

Good find (store credit offer)

I just bought the black 1 from tesco direct (white oos) for £259 using £20 off code, 2.5% quidco and clubcard points

tesco.com/dir…238

sounds like a good deal, not sure if tablet is any good?

The tablet is one of the best around

Very Good Tablet

Samsung Tab = dodgy

Samsung Tab with a Pro on the end = very good

I had a play around with one of these in the Samsung Experience store today, it's a nice bit of kit, great screen and very smooth. I preferred the 10.1 screen size but both were dwarfed by the 12.2 version.

Tablet is arguably the best around - though it is still expensive considering LG Tab 8 or even older Note 8 it somewhat replaces. For the money I would have expected a few more things included (e.g. Pen, USB 3.0 as Note 3 - and perhaps even AMOLED screen and more internal memory as standard - regardless of micro-SD slot).

But if you have a need for Play credit then it is a no-brainer. Do you have stuff on wish-list to buy (books / music / apps / films)?

I would personally have wanted this over the Note 2014 (gift) - but that is me.

man £100 play credit makes this a stonker! went with tesco though as it comes to £259, they even state they give 3 Year warranty.

so expect customs and VAT charges
zero customer service
high cost to ship it back for a refund.. etc

If buying from HK might as well pick an eBay HK seller with better feedback - likely less risk. If you get stung for VAT you'll end up paying more (+ 10 pound admin charge from delivery company).

LTE version is also available - unfortunately for about 100 pounds more. Amazon.de are more expensive now, but are usually cheapest if you need the LTE version.

This is a tempting deal, but I really want to get the 12.2 or fall back on the 10.1 sizes.
Will hold out. But heat added

Samsung upped there game now with tablets

Make sure you check out the screen on the 12" in a shop; look at fonts (e.g. green/blue on white) e.g. on Settings menu or Play store prices or similar. Myself I would not be happy seeing individual pixels - it is not the dpi to blame but the screen type (pentile). 8" screen is fine and I personally think the 10" screen just gets away with it but on 12" this is visible. Pity.

Nice price. Was really wanting to buy this but didn't want to pay the price at launch. Nice to see it come down a lot already

Anyone know what the terms are for the £100 vouchers. I wouldn't mind betting it excludes hardware

Wow that £100 Google play credit seems very enticing. Too bad I don't have that kind of money to throw on a tablet. I'm liking got a tablet but my budget currently is under £200.

I suppose you could sell the £100 play credit for, say, £80 on eBay, making the tablet effectively £199. That way both you and the guy who gets the voucher are getting a good deal

Yes, definitely no hardware still. Not just for this voucher for any Play credit even from cards.

Is there a version of this model that comes with the s-pen?

I did hear about the screen issue. But heard it's only noticeable of you are within a very short distance to the device. Less than arms length (more nose pressed up against it) you really notice it.

Carphone warehouse has a display for this tablet, will be checking it out later on, in no rush buying the 12" tablet yet. Waiting for the price to drop slightly.

thats what credit cards are for (and their free purchase protection), so thats basically NO risk. I bought a 800 TV from a dodgy company, didnt lose a penny, credit card company sorted out refund and chased them down without me lifting a finger.

Already got the LG G Pad 8.3 for £119. Do I get this too?

smsmasters, what would be the point in having 2?

I would sell the G pad and buy this

you say it like asking for chargebacks is guaranteed and limitless. It says a lot about you as a risk taker, visa/mastercard will consider your buying behaviour and ignorance before processing future charge backs in your favour.

The Reward will be emailed to the Participant within thirty (30) working days of claim validation and shall be sent to the email address given during the claim process.

what are you talking about?, It IS guaranteed BY LAW (Section 75), thats the whole point. I dont take risks and Visa have never questioned me or my buying habits thank you very much. The protection is afforded to me (and you guys) by statute, use it, thats what its for.

I'm sorry to say you clearly are either misinformed, or misunderstood your rights as a consumer when using credit cards.

Its all here plain as day for everyone to read

Avoid, avoid, avoid and then some. HK company pretending to be UK based. Very misleading website claiming that they import to UK then to you. Bullsh+t. i bought a camera from them and got stung by massive customs/DHL charges. No warranty. Their customer service is from the dark ages. Slated on trusted reviews.

Got mine today, should there be some kind of leaflet on how to claim the £100 credit in the box as I have no idea how to claim it? Also can anyone recommend a good case for this, I want one on-par with the Otterbox Defender, I don't want a flip case.

BTW I also have a Tab 3 8 and this wipes the flaw with it, I might go as far as to say it is as fast as my ipad mini retina!

Anyone know if you can purchase films with the £100 credit

has the credit offer expired?

would I be able to sell of the credit for cash? I know that I'm not likely to make 100 of it

Shipped from HK?

Has anyone had their £100 google credit yet? I registered on 8th May and was told it would be emailed within 30 working days, just wondering if any had gone out yet.

Can anyone tell me how to claim for the £100?
