bought one a couple of weeks ago from currys online, has infrared on it too which is great with the samsung remote control app

I have this tablet. Would highly recommend it. Awesome screen, battery life, very light and memory expansion is a great plus over iPad (reason I sold mine).
Does anyone know if there are any good deals for cases for this tablet?

I use this case on mine.good for the money.also visit XDA for lollipop rom

Hot hot hot...

Reckon I could use this to back up photos onto whilst travelling? Are there any apps to edit video footage on them or am I being too ambitious?

Just received the I blason case from amazon USA. Took 3 weeks to get here but we'll recommended cost $17 delivered.

This, the Onda V919 3G, or save a bit more and get the galaxy S. Tough choices at the moment. Whats peoples opinions?

a friend owns one, have to say better than any of the older Samsung tabs out there last few years they lagged. this is smooth, good display and batter life can't r!ever sot. I currently used a nexusn7 so prefer stock android over touch wiz though.

Is there much difference between this and the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 other than 4grams in weight and 0.7mm in depth? They seem near identical which seems a strange thing for Samsung to do.

The S has an oled screen which is very different to traditional LCD.

the tab s has an OLED screen - which should be better, but YMMV. With the right lighting (ie what they do in stores), the S is very desirable. But at more than 50% for almost no difference, this is a good value. The S has 3GB RAM and the 1.9GHz processor. If you get a chance go to PCW/Carphone Warehouse or Currys and look at each one. Do watch out for the lighting. I dont think you can fault this for the price.

And the prices will keep coming down when the Tab S2 starts to make it to the market. (This item - the Galaxy TabPro seems to be a discontinued item - but theres nowt wrong with it).

3gb of ram

had been at this price since ages.....

Got one for £160 a couple of months ago, I thought we were supposed to be suffering from deflation!

Does this get the Lollipop upgrade when it is available?

i doubt this.. Even if it gets Lollipop i wonder whether Samsung would keep updating this tablet rather than neglecting as it usually does to the older devices

Yes, should be available around April/May. I've got the 8.4" model, which John Lewis sell for £200, waiting on Lollipop.

tempted to get this. would prefer the notepro 12.2" but because there doesn't seem to be many deals on them it doesn't seem worth the extra money!
