Reviews are a bit meh because it's a TN.

I'm waiting on an affordable IPS 4k monitor. Could be waiting a while though.

Brilliant been looking for one for a while now

Just be aware that to get 60Hz at 3840x2160 you need to use a DisplayPort 1.2 cable or else it will be 30Hz using HDMI which isn't good for movies / gaming.

pretty much every movie is sub 30fps? except for a handful of movies like the hobbit

Voted hot! I paid £380 at overclockers for this at Christmas. Haven't taken it out the box yet though as I'm still waiting on my new rig arriving.

Plenty of cheaper 4k TN panels, what is so special about this? plus available for £370/£375 direct from UK. Plus on further inspection actually £375 including shipping and Amazon price converter, plus you'd have to pay for new power cable.

Don't think the cheaper ones support 60hz.

I would quite like one of these, can imagine it to be a decent step up from my 27" 1440p

If you have a look at the 4K Videos on Youtube etc you will see that many of them run at 60hz so it would be pointless getting a 4k monitor to watch 4k video if it can't support 60hz.

Also worth mentioning that at the moment, you can't get 4k content from Netflix, Amazon etc on the PC. They only offer this direct to TVs at the moment due to piracy concerns.

Yeah, mine arrived Christmas eve. Nice screen, pity the win 8 multi screen scaling is still pants (27" 4k, 14" 1080p and 23" 1080p are not a happy mix).
