A TN panel, with good reviews. Some of the negative reviews are PEBKAC issues.

wow. seems great! i wasn't sure what uhd was. 1440p or 4k? it is 4k so might want to specify that? 3840 x 2160

also what is a pebkac issue?

I was very tempted until I read/saw the issues with the VESA mounting holes.

To save anyone the effort, the VESA mounting holes are right at the top of the unit, not in the middle.
If you were buying for it to sit side by side with another monitor on a dual monitor stand, like I was, then this 28" would be just about touching the desk on its bottom edge.

Heat for the deal though.

PICNIC! Problem in chair not in computer

Excellent price for a UHD monitor. I'd be very tempted if I hadn't just spent £1k on a new desktop

UHD is 1440, OP should not have put UHD; this is 4K (or QHD, which is what Amazon put in their title).

Out of interest... Do you just loggin with your amazon UK details on the French/German/US amazon sites ? I've always been curious how it works buying from the US or a EU amazon site. Thanks for any replies in advance.:D

Thanks ! Any import charges from the US site ? I'm assuming all the EU ones are import charge free. Lastly how are returns ? Surely becomes expensive returning back to France or elsewhere if not faulty ?
Thanks again !

Yes there are import charges from the US, but you can prepay them in advance through Amazon. There is a bit of a markup on it this way but at least you know what it is.

Deliveries from other EU countries are import charge free. My only experience of returning an item bought from amazon.it was that it went back to the Scottish warehouse so the charge was as per returning to amazon.co.uk and not prohibitive (but i can't guarantee it's always like that).

I just click through to the final stage of an order to see delivery costs. Typically you get no choice though, or fast and very expensive / slow but with a lesser charge.

How much postage? Ordered a 28inch 4k asus for £400. Not a fan of sammy panels mind

Coming up £299 for me. Not worth the saving as if it goes wrong. Plus wrong plug likely!

Now £318.92 uk
