60HZ. It's pretty hard for most builds to run 4k at 60 fps let alone 144hz

Think you mean Hz. And it's 60hz which was until long ago a massive selling point for a 4k panel. 144hz @ 4k is not a thing anywhere near this price range and won't be for a long time unfortunately

Hopefully you mean Hz..

its a freesync 1 monitor.
60Hz on dp1.2a
30Hz on hdmi 1.4

144hz on 4k monitor? doubt even gtx 1080ti SLI could handle that

Great price. Heat!

Yeh sorry I mean hz, tbh I don't really know what I looking for, but want 4k or 144hz. I have a gtx1070 card and also I read the freesync won't work on this monitor too with my graphic card?

Good monitor but it looks like Freesync is broken on it, I presume this is why it's being sold off cheap (great for Nvidia owners though). It's supposed to do 40-64 and on the 24" version it will, but the 28" will only do 55-64 which is useless. google.co.uk/sea…107

From what i've seen, you can't currently buy a 144hz 4k monitor .. Next year yes, and at £1k+

Forget about 4k, 100-144 fps at 1440p on your 1070 will be a lot better than 40-60fps at 4k.

I had to double check on that as some of the specs say it's got a 75x75 vesa mount, but if that was true why would an adaptor bracket be needed? amazon.co.uk/Ada…H7U

You still could, it would just cost an extra £120 for the adapter brackets. Less than a grand for a 16k setup is pretty impressive (or would it be 8k, I always forget how they classify it).

It has a 75x75 vesa mount. I know as I have this and it says so in the description on the JL website! It's also freesync!

I paid a lot more for it but it's a cracking bit of kit. Be careful using external speakers with the headphone jack though, mine wasn't isolated properly and there was a buzzing through the speakers, all sorted after a very swift repair though.

At this price I'm tempted to get another one!

This monitor is actually Vesa mountable, I have this model and I have it mounted on an LCD arm right now32301138-ORnNm.jpg
I bought it a few months ago for £320, this is a fantastic price in my eyes.

How weird, I wonder if they changed it at some point as there are definitely people out there without a vesa mount judging by the comments on the adapter on Amazon.

What freesync range are you getting, is it only 55-64 or can you get the advertised 40-64?

I think there are two different models, I'm not 100% sure but I think there's a 590d and 590ds

I've never had a freesync monitor so don't have a clue, but I found this "
In the Radeon Settings app if you hover over the Freesync toggle (while you're at the higher refresh rate) it will also tell you what your range is.". No idea if that will work though.

Ah right, I'm actually just using it with a PS4 pro atm so dont have the ability to check or I would

This any good for PS4 pro ? Was looking at some budget 4k TV's around £400 but would this be a better option for half the price ? The size doesn't bother me.

From the Amazon description I see this: Native Resolution2045 x 1080 pixels
Whats that all about?

You'll need some external speakers (doesn't have any built in) for it. I'm using mine with my xbox one s with no issues

An "S"

TN kills it.

are TN panel really that bad? (genuine question) I recently got a gaming PC with a GTX 1070 and want to get a new monitor at some point in time. i play alot of fighting games (play other genres too etc) which would require a quicker response rate, would it be better for me to get this monitor or an IPS later down the road?

TN is absolutely fine.

If response time is important to you go with TN, IPS is better for a brighter more vivid image quality as colours are better but usually at cost of response time.

Ive personally had a few of both IPS and TN panels, IPS image quality is beautiful to look at but personally I find it too bright for me so I prefer to go with TN.

I think it's great for the pro, only thing you miss out on is HDR as monitors don't do it yet, also as the other poster mentioned it has no speakers but that's not a big deal if you use a headset like I do or you can always buy some cheap pc speakers which would probably work out better as TV/monitor speakers are usually subpar.

Another thing to note is that only one of the hdmi ports does 4k, the other only does 1080p

Good timing - just had to order a new desktop and was going to wait to see what monitors were available during Black Friday but this was too good a deal to miss out on.

Cheers!

Definitely, I've used one and as long as you aren't looking at it from a massive horizontal angle or have you computer chair too high or low, its perfectly fine. The ASUS one is supposed to be better though.
