Why the cold votes?
Maybe cause it's a TN panel. Wish they still sold the 24", it was IPS and was the perfect resolution for retina on Macs.

And same price on Overclockers.

How about this?? Asus MX279H 27" IPS LED LCD £237

27 inch but has IPS. It won't match TN monitor response times but colours should be good. Gets good review on UK partpicker. Asus is a top gaming brand.

If you have £500 this 144HZ IPS monitor looks great.

The Samsung had no reviews on UK Partpicker suggesting gamers are not using it much.

Personally I think that this would be a better buy as it is a 27" 4k IPS screen rather than a TN screen:

IPS will give better colours and viewing angles. However, a TN screen has faster pixel response.

Another option is this Samsung 27" IPS QHD (2560 x 1440) with USB C input. I ordered one yesterday
