It depends if you can fit an extra 3" in, my opening is just wide enough for a 37" one...otherwise it'd look stupid.
Thanks for the headsup!

Hot because you know the difference between an LCD and an "LED" set :P

However, he doesn't know the difference between LED back lit, and LED edge lit (this set is edge lit, which isn't as good).
BIG difference.

From my experience of Samsung quality and customer support I'd give them a very wide berth. I'm sticking with Panasonic from now on.

Brand new 50" 1080P TV with a dodgy panel (known fault), repaired under warranty, near the very end of the year the new panel went dodgy (known fault).

Just before we contacted them Samsung rang us to see if we were happy with the first repair we said no and explained the new fault, so they gave us a number to ring, we rang the number. The result, if I may paraphrase them 'The TV is now a day or two over 12 months old so f**k off!' even though when we explained the fault to the other person and reported it, the TV was still in warranty!

Luckily we bought it from John Lewis who honoured a free extended warranty, if it had been the identical model bought at Comet we'd have had to fight Samsung or buy a new TV 12 months and a few days later. Luck of the draw and we were lucky on that front at least.

Google "Samsung TV capacitor problems" for more stories of their exceptional build quality and customer service (yes that's sarcasm). They need to spend some of their money on R&D and quality control instead of bribes (google that as well).
