didnt notice that!............£258 after cashback

what is tcb???

That review sounds like it was written by somebody who just read the brochure, hardly in-depth. Nice TV for the cash though it would be better if it had Freeview HD

So hot from me. Never used TCB before - how quick are they usually on payout?

Currently saving for the Samsung UE40D7000 or Samsung UE40D6530 for my bedroom but when i see offers like this i wonder are the extras really worth it.

Topcashback.co.uk

There are some sites that pay you cash, if you use them to link into a retailer and make purchases. It varies whether it's a % of what you're spending, sometimes a fixed amount and there are several sites that do this. The 2 main ones seem to be Topcashback.co.uk and Quidco.co.uk : these have different amounts of cash that they pay you, and also deal with many of the same, as well as different retailers.

The type of goods you can buy this way varies between mobile phones and contracts, hotels, flights, holidays, household shopping at places like Tesco/Asda/Sainsbury and a huge range of other goods, even RAC membership etc.

Often the amount of cash paid to you is considerable, though there's a delay before you get this money, whilst they're waiting to receive the money from the retailer, before they pay it to on to you.

They'll typically pay it into your bank account, on a regular basis, such as once a month. Topcashback is free, whilst Quidco takes the first £5 of what you earn in a year - whilst this would seem to beggar the question 'why would anyone use Quidco?', but their cashback levels can be higher. As long as you're more than £5 a year better off, then it is worth using them.

That all said, this cashback is never guaranteed, and sometimes you need to refer a purchase to the cashback site, but most purcashes do get settled to you: though some retailers have worse reputations than others.

Here are their sites, so that you can take a look:
quidco.com/
topcashback.co.uk

There's some info about cashback on moneysavingexpert site too, and they have a tool that you can use, where you input the retailer's name and it informs you which cashback sites would offer cashback, as well as the £/% you may get. This is their overview page: moneysavingexpert.com/sho…tes and this is the page with the cashback tool: moneysavingexpert.com/sho…son

General advice is to Never visit the retailer's site before the cashback site, as that first visit will leave a 'cookie' on your computer which will reveal how you got there. When you visit from the cashback site the cookie will reveal that the cashback site referred you, and would initiate tracking/payment for your order. It can be useful to have a separate web browser that you use for making cashback site purchases, where you can easily keep it cleared of cookies. You never pay for purchases to the cashback site, you merely buy/pay the retailer you want to buy from, as you would have done anyway.

It's fairly easy to master, and I use both of these sites and wouldn't recommend them if I hadn't earned a large amount of money from them, or if the process was too hard etc.

I hope this helps - please feel free to message me with any questions. Good luck!!
