my price match got accepted today also but to be honest this is till overpriced for a basic series 6 Samsung and knowing the 10 free UHD movies are just rentals make it even more unappetising .

Seems a mass influx of price challenges to JL which they accept in literally minutes
Do you get a big warranty on all john lewis tv's or something? What's bad about buying from PRC?

They do not offer 5 year free warranty, but John Lewis do.
I walked in store today and spoke to the sales guy. I got the price matched for UE40MU6400 on the spot. It is priced for £429 at JL. The sales guy spoke to his manager and the manager reduced it to £349 to price match RGB.
Interested in a 32 inch of this price and spec but can't seem to find deals on TVs that small. Any ideas?
Good find. Heat!
Is the User Interface OK on this, a friend of mine has the 2016 4K model and its really buggy he hates it.
This deal was posted a couple of nights ago I think by pavel76 so this is really a duplicate and should be expired. I too have received a price match request from John Lewis just deciding whether to pull the trigger or not! hotukdeals.com/dea…909

40" though... Bit small for a main TV? I have a 43" normal HDTV, not sure I'd really to go smaller?

Yes you are right it is a basic 6 series Samsung.... But what do you expect for less then £300. You could always buy a vestel made tv, might be cheaper

i brought a series 6 in 2015 for £315 so its not a good price 2 years on for only difference of HDR update.

not sure what brand your 43 is but these UHD tv of samsungs are almost full screen with very little frame so would never look less than a 43 is size and picture is far superior even if a bit overpriced for 2018 basically.

And 4k. As I doubt in 2015 a 4k Samsung would be £315.
Nice deal. Do you get the 10 free UHD download movies with John Lewis too or just PRC?

Did the 40 look small or something? Why did you return? I got the 40 inch mu6400 coming on Thursday but I was thinking if I should have got the 50 inch version of this instead but 50 might be a bit overkill for my small room. Hmmm.
Can anyone tell me if with these smart TVs you can use a pvr. I usually tape programmes rather than watch them live as it gives me more control over how I watch things so would I still be able to even on catch up or youtube?
I'm getting tempted by this now. I have a 42" HDTV and initially didn't want to go smaller, however a 49" would look too big and SD channels and DVD's won't look as good as they would on a smaller panel...

Its never been out of the box, just saw the 50" deal, asked JL for a price match, they approved so for £30 more I get a 50" TV. All of these budget HDR TVs will be wiped out in a year or so by the price fall of full 10 bit panels but this will do for now.
can't believe people go mad saving 20-£30, not the best of tvs, next week you'll find ten times better tv same price then people complaining how to send back so can buy this one, some jump the ship to quick lol

What's the 50" deal please?
Can amyone recommend a 4K tv under £500 at Currys (one of the ps4 pro gift voucher)?

In THIS THREAD myself and others submitted a successful price match claim (via this link), to John Lewis for £399 for the 50" version of the TV. Obviously I paid £369 originally i.e. before these other deals started to appear... unlike the 40" TV, the 50" hasn't come down in price any further.

Hmmm... will look out of place in my small lounge I think.

Also, won't SD channels look terrible on a screen this big?
Thought it had to be a high street store for JL to price match?
Appears to be back to £349 on Price Direct?
