Very tempted at this price, anyone got this TV and tell me what video/sound/HDR quality is like?

Which rate it at 68% so just below Best Buy

Pros:Decent performance for the price68%
Good overall picture quality, Samsung's smart-TV platform is easy to set up and use
Cons: A little bit of juddering during more detail shots, no Freeview Play

Talking of Which, a good time to pay a quid for one's free trial!

Very tempted.. This one or Hisense 5700

This for picture quality, but you might get a bigger Hisense at this price with still decent quality

I have the Samsung UE40KU6000. Not sure if this is worth buying for the sake of 5 year warranty. Can't see much difference between the two?

This one's slimmer than the LG, if that helps

I am in the same boat. I am thinking to go for Samsung as reviews are better than LG ones. Also LG is RGBW panel

Me too! Just ordered this though. Hopefully that’ll save me hours as I won’t have to read over these TV threads anymore. It’s been useful, but I can’t say I’ll miss you! Never did figure out what a 10 bit panel was or what was so unspeakably terrible about RGBW.... and get....this TV is for my lounge. Crazy, it’s a teeny tiny 40 inch and it’s not even going to go on the wall, it’s going to sit on ACTUAL furniture and occasionally I’ll play the Wiii through it

I jumped and went for this one with richer sounds

Does this have a 10 bit panel for HDR?

Richersounds lists this as 8bit

A 10-bit panel isn't significant for HDR.

In terms of influential hardware for HDR it has a standard gamut backlight and no local dimming system but is probably a VA panel at this size so decent starting contrast.

Looks great. 5yr warranty with JL or same price and 10% TCB at Currys?
