Is this silver? Does this model only come in silver or black too?

Yes it was, but this price will be easier to get a JL price match and 5 years warranty
Is it worth it to pay the extra £60 for this model rather than the UE40MU6120? Can't see any major differences

That's the black one without the Freesat? I think. If so then I think no. Was confusion on light bleep but seems that's on the 49 inch model. This looks good.

There's a few differences over the 40MU6120 including a Freesat tuner, Bluetooth, better remote and greater colour depth in the panel. You can do a detailed comparison here: displayspecifications.com/en/…35e

Where can you get the MU6120 for £290? I'd buy one at that price.
RGB Direct - UE40MU6120. Just ordered one myself.

Wow, thanks, that's got to be the cheapest it has been. Price keeps dropping though...
Great TV. I got one last month from John Lewis when they priced matched for £399.

It was worth the £399 I paid so it's even better at £349 although it doesn't appear to include a 5 year warranty with PRC Direct.

Do JL price match with these?

Yes they do price match
Is there a bigger screen version of this model? This price is amazing but looking for a 55".

I've had confirmation that JL will price match at £349 - so have 28 days to decide what to do :-)
Might get this one for the office. Does the 40" suffer from the reported light bleed issues that the 49" suffers from?

Apparently the 40" is free of such issues. The bigger panels are different (IPS Panels I believe) so suffer from the bleed issues.

Yeah it's more likely to have that issue.
Ordered via JL.... let's see if anything drops next few days in price.
Thank you OP ordered after John Lewis agreed the price promise.
Thanks for posting, OP. I bought this TV for my kids for Christmas when it was on sale at John Lewis for £479. They price-matched RGB Direct at £399, and have just refunded me another £50 after price-matching the deal you spotted.

Cheers!!

I have always wondered about this.

If I buy a TV from John Lewis with a price matched price from one company & order it, and a short time later (say a few days or a week), the price drops further from a different price matchable company, how would I go about getting the price difference knocked off my already price matched order?

Sorry for the overuse of the word "price"

Edit: would the second price match be void if the item has already been delivered?

I just replied to their email asking for the extra £50 price match. They got back to me within an hour confirming another £50 had been refunded to my account.

They'll price match it as many times as you like, but it has to be submitted within 28 days of purchase
