Submitted a JL pricematch.

I know most people are looking for 4K these days but this seems to be a good value TV. Late 2017 model and cheaper than anywhere else by a country mile.

Can anyone advise if this tv is better than the similarly priced 40/43” 4K TVs appearing lately?

People are only voting cold bc it's not 4k and is a series 5. Still a good set and 3 inches bigger than the 4k one everyone is going for. For the same price. If there's no HDR though that kinda kills it for me

Fair enough. At this price point anything that has ‘HDR’ is non existent anyway lol.

It’s funny how people are voting cold but no one has said it’s a poor TV or found a price even close to it.

Anybody with feedback on this TV would be appreciated.
When buying a TV was so much more simple.
I feel like 1080p TVs are the new 720p laptops

I guess one person may justify why they have voted cold... lol

You can only see 4k if you sit closer than 5ft from a 40". crutchfield.com/S-g…tml
Usually sound is better on older models because slightly thicker means bigger speakers. And if not smart usually the controls/boot time is faster but this one is smart.

Mhm, you might be right there. I've heard people say on budget TV's the HDR isn't true HDR or something
Can only be hot!

Purchased the 32" version from John Lewis before Christmas for only £10 less than this and it's a great TV.

Great deal!

John Lewis confirmed the price match. The reviews you have posted is for rgb and not the product itself right?
HThere's a 6120 4k Samsung T.V. for £309. Maybe that's why this deal s cold
