Brilliantly reviewed (http://www.reevoo.com/p/samsung-ue46eh6030), and by far the cheapest 46 Inch 3D LED I could find. At least £100 cheaper than anywhere else online (£700 on Amazon - http://www.amazon.co.uk/SAMSUNG-UE46EH6030-Television-Freeview-Ethernet/dp/B008BSTVVC).

Wow that is cheap...But I'm not sure it comes with any glasses.

Only guessing but is the depth inclusive of the stand?
Comes with 2 pairs of bluetooth glasses (details about half way down in the full specs just before the features section).

http://www.rtings.com/images/thickness-lcd-led-plasma.png

On average, an edge-lit LED TV is the thinnest, with only 1.8". A full array matrix backlight is slightly thicker at 1.9" because the LEDs needs to be behind the screen, not around it. Plasmas are not so bad anymore, about 2.5" deep in average. The clear loser here is a normal LCD television with an average thickness of 3.6" due to their big cold cathode tubes behind the screen.

Thickness is mostly for the appearance and impressing your friends. A very slim television looks a lot better in your living room than a bulky one. It is also easier to mount on the wall, because it will be closer to the wall.

You should not base your buying decision on only this factor, unless the esthetic of your television is very important to you and how it fits into your room. Consider the thinness a bonus if you are buying a LED TV.
This appears to be a very basic version of the EH6030... no Ethernet port and only 2 HDMI ports may not be enough for me.

Depth without the stand should be ~96mm...still thick for an LED.
This model doesn't display full 3D HD, but isn't a deal breaker.

Hmm tempted good price, thinking Tescos blurb may be incorrect in regards to Ethernet etc.
No way is it a proper LED. Check out the images on Tesco. It's about 3 times thicker than my 3yr old 46" Samsung LCD
terrrible refresh rate
i ordered one last week and im sure many others did when it was on offer with 20% off 8 samsung tv's

from research it comes with glasses , it has ethernet for dlna streaming

you can play files off usb the same as the more expensive models, it lacks smart features but my pc will take care of that

the bezel itself is quite narrow, but the depth comes from it being fully backlit led rather than edge lit of those slim lines models. this should mean fewer uniformity problems . for decades we lived with tvs that were a few feet deep so these kind of things don't bother me if it means the picture is perfect.

A lot more tvs than you think will have a native 50hz refresh rate , a lot of this 400/600/800hz is marketing talk . And for gaming once you activate game mode on a tv they all revert to native panel refresh rate to lower input lag anyways dont they?
Maybe watching movies or sports it might not be as clear as say the es8000 but then that costs 3 times as much.

for the price i couldn't find anything as good and ive been looking for months.

Im hoping to get it this weekend and will be happy to answer any questions people have about it
It has Samsungs clear motion refresh rate of 200hz, which would be nearer to 100hz typical refresh rate, so again think the blurb maybe slightly off.
the tesco specs are wrong, for a bargain large screen, 3d , freeview hd tv with ethernet port, its great value for a branded tv. i purchased mine with an ecoupon that saved another £15, but delivery is £7.95.
Can u get a John Lewis Pricematch on this one for the 5 year guarantee?
What was the ecoupon?

50hz might be input signal? I'd be surprised if it didn't do 60hz.

i couldnt get that voucher to work , have you got the tv yet ? if so whats it like?

according to avsforums ,samsung confirmed it's a 50/60hz native panel depending on what's input , the 100hz/120hz is only active in 3d mode

the 200hz thing is 200 CMR ( clear motion rate ) , samsungs own made up rating which i believe has nothing to do with actual refresh rate. For example the es8000 is 800CMR but no way refreshes 800 times a second

it does have frame interpolation too , motion plus samsung call it so it will be smoother than a bog standard 50hz tv . some people don't like it but i personally couldn't watch tv without some kind of motion smoothing now.

3D Active and Clear Motion Rate 200 Hz according to Amazon

amazon.co.uk/SAM…HMO
yeh I have seen them in tescos but my god they are thicker than the old LCD TV's

I bought one and took it back to curry's as it suffers terribly from clouding and banding when watching sport

Black lines clearly visible when camera is panning

It's cheap for a reason

If this is a 3D TV it will have a 200Hz frequency minimum during 3D. But people are getting way to hung up on the frequency and most ppl don't even understand what it achieves.

If you want to avoid clouding completely you should get a plasma. If you want a TV to look thin and expensive you should spend more money.

Not the deal it seems to be anymore. Go to checkout and its now £578 only £1.00 less than Curry's PC World.
