I already have it in my lighthouse.
What hifi award winner 2015 it's £549 at richer sounds
Currys are playing games methinks. It was £499 earlier today, then jumped up to £599, now it's down to £549. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmn
Have they improved the sound at all from the F models from a few years back?

The sound on the F models is absolutely atrocious with its massively exaggerated bass making it hard to balance the sound.

I used to buy loads from Currys, around £2k a year, used to have okay deals until searching online more but the ease of having a shop close by but the one thing that will eventually sting you is there No Returns Policy, been on watchdog plenty of times and ive had this happen to me. They Will "Not" entertain any kind of Manufacturer fault At all.

I have now since boycotted all purchases from there and considering I like to shop its very difficult to do so but they wronged my daughter on her birthday. good find but wont add heat or cold either way sorry mate (OP)

Its £49 more on Amazon and Tescos and being a hotukdeals miser i would rather pay the £49 extra and know at least if anything happened i wouldnt have a very large cumbersome paperweight lol

I'm on the look out for this when Black Friday hits
Is this decent for gaming?
£549:00 at Richer Sounds today
Probably price match and get a 6 year guarantee there though.

Is this decent for gaming?

NO Tv is a good screen for gaming apart from the size.
How much better picture quality will this be compared to a £200 standard LCD 1080p panel?

What brand u comparing with
It was still marked at £499.00 today in Currys Hull.
Don't see any point at the minute in buying any tv from Currys as Richer Sounds have a 6 year warranty on most tv's, even the Vestel made Panasonics. JL offering 5 year warranty at present and will price match in most instances.

I saw something really odd in Currys today. All of the HD Ready and Full HD tv's seemed to have fuzzy pictures yet the 4k tv's were picture perfect. Thought that was really strange considering that most f their tv's are on their hd loop or on the tv's demo mode. Just wondered if they were trying to put people off the cheaper range and pushing them to more expensive tv's. There was also quite a few tv's switched off as well. One thing that did catch my eye was a 49" 4K LG. I never seen a picture like it. Absolutely amazing and it was £699.00 Not sure which model it was but if I was in the market to swap my current 10 month old tv that is the one I would be buying.
I will get the LG 4K to with the amazing picture when BBC start broadcasting in 4K I've read online it's next year

New Bond film in cinema in Sony 4k

It has the same writer as Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace and Skyfail so I will be in no rush to go see it at the pictures. If only they could bring back some of the old screenplay writers who could keep our interest going and not try and lose us somewhere in the plot (QOS), or try and make us go to sleep in the middle (Casino Royale) and give us a James Bond who is a James Bond and not a broken man who couldn't fight, shoot, drive or just be Bond (Skyfail). I am quite surprised really of the weakness of the three Daniel Craig films seeing the writer is the one from Die Another Day and that was a decent movie. For me though Daniel Craig has been seriously let down by the screenplay in all films as they could have been so much better. Casino Royale had a great start and amazing end with two hours of boring poker in the middle. Quantum of Solace was all over the place and still not entirely sure what was going on and Skyfall well that was just a big fail for me. A weak storyline, although the plot was easy to follow. Bond fails at nearly every hurdle. No gadgets. Hardly any exotic locations and he let M die. Hopefully they finally buried the DB5 and don't insist on bringing it back again. It wouldn't outrun an Astra diesel in today's world.

That's my rant about my disappointment of the DC Bond movies. Has anyone seen Spectre yet. Is it any good. Is it on par with any of the Roger Moore or Brosnan films. If anyone says it's as good as Casino Royale, QOS or Skyfail then I will leave my interest of James Bond back in 2002 when Pierce left.
IMHO the women are not attractive in the new bond film

yeah that's because they're displaying content in scart/AV while 4k is hdmi with HD content. very shifty stuff
