Hot! was looking for a new TV! Have filled in the JL pricematch form.

Do you still get the 4K blue ray player with the John Lewis price match?

Don't think so. Not like for like. I didn't risk it

Nice find, heat.

Well, if this is true, then an amazing deal...
Been waiting for this to drop for a while... Toss up between this TV and the KD55XD9305... Both were £1299...

Is there any benefit to price matching with JL and buying it from them, both retailers offer a 5 year warranty?

None if Warranty is with Panasonic, that I can see.

Any idea why this is cold? Looks good to me.

Fuff knows... Probably because it's not an 85" oled

Confusion with the KS7000 for £750 previously?

Cold - Guess it's the Haters who don't like to think that someone might spend so much on a TV when they're having to buy their Bush TV's from Argos !

Heat from me. How the hell is this cold!!
Better back panel than the ks7000 apparently.

The only thing I can't find on the various review sites is if this thing actually outputs DTS over Optical if the input is HDMI. Anyone know if this is possible? Thanks.

Like I said in earlier post, this seems an amazing deal. Was in pc world / curry's earlier and this tv is still £1199... Both the KS8000 and the sony KD55XD9305 look immense. The Samsung one is bright and vibrant, where as the sony looks the more natural in colours.

Hot for me great tv, £200 cheaper than anywhere else!

Long warranty is with retailer and not the manufacturer.

You are right.. Looks like it's via the retailer through an insurance company, similar to John Lewis.
John Lewis are using TWG Services Limited, Sonic Direct are using RetraCare.
