Good price but if i'm not mistaken this is one that has had a lot of light bleed issues. Suggest quick google search before purchasing.
Never understood why anyone would want to buy a curved screen TV unless you lived by yourself and only ever sat in one chair to watch it.
it comes with a free hdmi cable?! How can Samsung afford to do that?
Well if it has a free hdmi cable it would be rude not too, heat!

Well, I guess there are alot of single people and then you have couples who may cuddle up together to watch TV of an evening or on the weekend. So curved does have a place in some homes! I wouldn't worry about the curve- at 49" you'd have to sit about 5' from the set to see the 4K experience lol

I have a curved TV. Bought after watching curved and flat version side by side and reading pros and cons. With curved TV you get depth in the picture and they look more realistic than flat version. There would be some loss of viewing angle but that doesn't mean that you would have to sit straight and close to TV.

Your comment was funnier so you beat me on that front X)
Thanks OP - I've been waiting for this to come down to £500 (and this is close enough) - yeah, I get that 43" ins't to everyone's taste - but that's the size I want; and as far as I can see, this is the best TV you can get for that size.
Have a little glass on bubbly on me!
Whoops - placed comment on wrong page. Sorry. I'll take that drink back to!

Yes, I'm a nerd and as such I understand that unless you sit exactly at the focal point of the screen, the screen will appear smaller than watching a flat screen. Sure, one single slither of screen may be exactly facing you but the rest will be facing in other directions to varying degrees. As such I'd have expected your family to be the ones shuffling about for the best viewing angle.
itsgun4u's reply makes more sense. I don't agree with it, but it makes more sense. At least he understands physics and geometry and that the rest is personnel opinion.

Just got JL to price match Instore, been after a 9000 for a while do prefer the curve and was side with the new Q range which was noticeable better (not major) but 3 times the price.

Picked up to take home well in the car.
