£10 cheaper at crampton & moore

looks good..this or the lg oled 910v from Richer sounds? for £999..

Amazing spec for 49".

I remember when 32" was seen as enormous!

Great TV.

wish it had 3d... good price tho. Heat applied..

Any good deals on 55"

Personally, I'd take Samsung Quantum Dot over OLED. Mainly because of the input lag of OLED technology. This is only really a concern for gaming, but the KS9000 has considerably less lag than the 910. Picture and contrast also look more natural, HDR content is awesome on the KS9000, UHD Premium rated to 1000 nits ( LG OLED is around 600 nits).

Obviously Samsung can't compete with LG OLED when it comes to black levels, but they're very very good for a LCD screen nonetheless.

Probally the LG OLED as it's 1080P, unless you have a 4k source of course.

Do not buy! I exchanged this out 3 times with JL because of horrible light bleed issues

More than 1 in 4 households (average) in the UK have a Netflix subscription. That's Netflix alone (not taking into account Amazon Prime, Virgin, Sky Q, UHD Blu Ray (which this TV comes with), Youtube or *cough* illegal-Kodi-boxes *cough*). And that's just video. Then you have games from shield TV, PS4 Pro and Xbox One S or High end PCs and that's without pulling content you've recorded yourself on your 4k-video-recording-phone or camera.

I'd argue a large portion will have access to HDR content. As for 4K, Very few people don't have some 4k content from any of the above.

This is immense value.

I wish I had waited until now to upgrade my TV! I got the 55 KS7000 and it's fantastic, but I would love a dedicated 4K BR player, and this TV is better spec overall!

I'm torn between this and the 55" KS7000. Other than the size difference with this offer (49" here vs 55" on the 7000) and the bundled UHD blu-ray player, what's the main difference between the two models?

10bit vs 8, 120hz vs 60. Screen would stay at 60hz but the motion should greatly benefit from a 120hz panel plus some other stuff I think. Curved is much better for close distance 4K gaming especially on the PC

I'm not sure specifically, but the panel is better, the backlight is better and the speakers are better too on the KS800 and 9000 (9000 being top of the last range of Sammys).

The KS7000 is great, but at the time i bought it I paid £100 less that this, but I would 100% choose this deal.

Also, the last reply was incorrect, in case it makes a difference, the KS7000 IS a 10-Bit panel.

Not to mention the KS7000 is all sold out everywhere!

Oh don't worry about it man, I know there has been a lot of speculation about the KS7000 and in part due to the different model numbers for the US market confusing things a bit!

Both are great TV's for sure.

I managed to get Richer Sounds to price match at the Crampton and Moore £1049 price earlier this week.

Is the refresh rate not also 120 Hz vs 120 Hz? Why else this the 9000 a better screen than the 7000? I'm personally interested in OLED, but trying to find a cheaper alternative so the missus doesn't murder me!

Wrong the ks7000 ks8000 and ks9000 all have same panel, 7 and 8 flat 9 curved. All 10 bit panel full hdr

I bought the ks8000 for the better speakers and slightly better picture, no light bleed at all, mint picture. Trim is better . This 9000 is a beast in the shop but I didn't want curved screen as amy living room has a wide viewing angle. Class deal this just sell the player for £150 and you have a total bargain.
