I've done a lot of research of reviews and finding the best value 47-50 inch tv, and this is the one!

At £549 it's an excellent price, and you get a 5 year guarantee respectively with John Lewis, and it is a highly thought of guarantee. Definitely a cracking TV and very future proofed. I've put a link for a couple of reviews below as well. Don't think the deal will last till tomorrow!

Is this the one that doesn't have BBC iplayer etc? Or has that been sorted

Nothing special with that price - it's available at that price at Currys amongst many others

no 5 year warranty at currys

it does have iplayer but like any of these companies apps they aren't guaranteed, in a few years to come we will be all using external devices on TVs. we have the bigger version, just hoping that it drops a few more quid in the next couple of days so I can get some cash back.

From what I read online it will have iplayer once Samsung do an update but not certain.

it's also a 50hz panel. Tempted myself but haven't seen a decent 50inch 4k tv reduced yet this 'black friday'

The review website s21.com says:
"If you can afford to spend a little extra, we'd recommend you consider the Samsung KU6400 which fixes the problems of viewing angles and motion blurs" (that you get on the KU6000. I'm not sure what the difference is (if any) between the 6000 and the 6020.

An extra 6 inch of tv for around the same price is decent.... unless you pay an extra 50 for warranty which is worth it...

Decisions decisions.... argh

is this 8 bit or 10 bit? really irritating how this seems to be left out of every tv spec considering its apparent importance.

Definitely 8-bit. You need to step up to the KS7000 for a 10-bit panel. Nothing at this price point is 10-bit.

I bought 55" 6020 last week. It does not have Freesat HD, only Freeview HD. I have both aerial and dish so didn't matter.
