Use Code PCT50 for £50 off the stated £729 price (which by itself seems to be the cheapest available price anyway).

Apparently this has HDR 1000

I'm sure this is the model without the 120hz panel. Just the normal 60hz. Sizes above have the better motion screen
I got a price match last week with John Lewis (matching RGB Direct) for £619.
I'd go for the size up (still not sure if I want 65 or 75 though) because of the 120hz panel, I'm put off by the lack of headphone socket on this model. It doesn't seem like there are ANY bluetooth headphones that are up to scratch for Home Theatre set ups so why would they remove the socket? I haven't bought a TV in years, is it standard now to not have 3.5mm ports?

I would to know if there are TVs with 3.5mm audio jack?
Just bought an OLED55B7 and that has one 🤔

So most don't? I think I'm out of touch! My 37" Toshiba Regza (a true workhorse, no signs of fatigue after years) I'm using right now has a nicely labelled Headphone 3.5mm audio jack.

I'm quite likely going to be watching TV very late at night when I sometimes finish work and bluetooth headphones are not up to scratch for Home Theatre set ups.

"Apparently this has HDR 1000"

Yup, that's the label Samsung's marketing department have chosen according to their website:
samsung.com/uk/…XU/

In terms of actual HDR ability it's about what you'd expect for the price. HDTV Polska found peak brightness between 400-600cd/m² and contrast between 2600:1 and 8000:1 in real world scenes:
hdtvpolska.com/sam…hz/

For comparison the non-HDR JU7000 from 2015 was 3000:1 to 6200:1 contrast and 400cd/m² in brightness.

There's not been a great deal of dynamic range increase at this price yet. Although this also has the wide gamut backlight, so you will see some differences.

Any good? I saw it in Currys and the picture looked excellent. Would prefer the 55” but it doesn’t fit

If you buy an Nvidia shield TV media box/streamer then the Bluetooth remote has a headphone jack built in... very handy for late night tv when the kids / Mrs is in bed

Nope, but for a few quod you can ego Bluetooth to 3.5mm and audio out to 3.5mm etc. Just need to spend a few quid on a converter,

New line ups going to be annouced in a few days at CES.

If anyone is thinking of getting a TV and is not in a hurry, I'd hold off as prices should tumble.

Starts tomorrow and ends friday so its upon us. Whether they cut prices on anything in this time frame I dont know but probably worth waiting until the end of next week to see if theres any movement because im sure other people are holding back as well.

Currys sale lasts till the end of January so I've got three weeks till I pull the trigger, although the MU7000 65" seems to have sold out I can still get the MU7070 which is the basically same.... this buying a big screen is stressing me out, still not sure if I want 65" or go the for maximum cinema experience with 75". I can't handle this.
Anyone know the difference between this and a UEKS7000?
A good review for the 55" version, hopefully they're very similar in terms of panel! hdtvtest.co.uk/new…htm
