Looking at a TV for bedroom. I've never had a curved TV? What's yours views @MrSwitch
I have a curved monitor, and like most things in life...they become everyday, forgot until you asked. Curved screens are mostly gimmicky, i think as far as TV's go, they might help to a small degree, but i don't know of any problems related to being curved.
I wouldn't let it sway your decision.

Why a curved mate? Would a standard not just be as good?

Because the deal you've posted is a curved one haha
We stayed at a house that had a curved screen TV and while the picture was great, everything that was reflective or bright in the room ended up getting reflected and stretched on the screen - i.e. a desk lamp behind the viewer would look really weird in the reflection.

I'd say there's no difference from a standard to be honest.

I'm confused also. It's OK I've decided for a flat haha
Curved, possibly a good idea if you live in a lighthouse, or, sit at the exact epicentre of the radius of curvature.

Look terrible wall mounted, but possible an advantage in the corner of a room on a stand.

If you sit off centre, you can get a lot of colour shift because you're essentially looking flat-on at one edge of the screen, and at a tangent to the opposite side.
Have a curved Samsung in bedroom and I love it!

We have one in an alcove in the living room. Great until our toddler smashed the screen.

& does your mrs use it on you regularly.............
This or a 55" RU7100 ?
I think the PQI is higher on this.
Will it make a big difference ?
This will be for in a bedroom so will only be viewed from front on.
