Just to point out too - you can get this interest free for 9 months when you buy it with an Argos card.

I'm getting very, very tempted to replace my ageing Sammy 42" plasma
sounds like a good deal to me. Heat added
get john lewis to price match as you get 5 years warranty with them
Is it a 3 year or 5 year free warranty from Costco, worth factoring in the price

I'd rather get it from costco with their amazing warranty / returns and 2% cashback
wow super hot !
so tempted
Very good deal, can still get £10 voucher too I think
How many years warranty from Argos?

Also, can't find it on the Costco site - anyone got a direct link? Or is it via this flyer only?

1 year standard from Argos and the Costco site doesn't list everything they sell, it was on a flyer for their special offers starting 8th April.

costco warranty the best
This TV looks quite 'thick' (deep) in one of the photos on the Argos website. Spec says that the TV is 9.4 cm deep (excluding the stand). Is this good, bad or average?
That'll probably be at the deepest part of the set, though the screen itself will probably be a lot thinner - LED's are pretty thin!

*UPDATE* Just checked the pic of this model and it's pretty chunky! Some of the higher end LEDs produced by Samsung are only about 3 cm deep. Better for wall mounting, depending on your set up or requiremetns of course.

These are quite deep for LEDs as bamshopper mentioned. It's about the same as my Sammy Plasma and wouldn't worry me, but if you want slim, go for the 6 series (EH6300 or similar)
Purchased. Great price. Not concerned about the thickness as it will be wall mounted
Isn't the refresh rate quite bad? Only 100hz? Can anyone who has this let me know if it's okay or slow?
my fiancee has just text to tell me out 42" Bravia that was bought from an electrical good store no longer with us (dam recession!!) wont show any picture and just squiggles! therfore this looks like a nice replacement! X)
This tv is thin as I have just bought the 50inch
