Is uhd equivalent to 4K?

Hmm yes and no. In UHD you get Certified 4K with HDR but the HDR will not show its full capabilities as the screen is 8-bit with no local dimming.

Hmm....thinking of cancelling my Philips from AO and getting the 55" from here. Seems to have positive reviews.

Just got JL to price match the 55" including the voucher code, so with 5yr warranty makes JL a no-brainer.
I bought this at Christmas and it’s a good TV
Heat
I have this 📺 and the pictures great both 1080p and 4K. And for the price it’s a bargain. Before settling on this TV I went though a few models and all had various degrees of light bleed, but not this one.
Which TV, this or trustedreviews.com/rev…-tv

Not bothered about the different in ". Just best value and picture quality
I tried the voucher code for the 55" and it doesn't work

Same.

Is this a VA or IPS panel does anyone know?

I have this TV, it's alright!
The major let down is the way it handles audio.
I have mine connected to AV receiver via hdmi and optical. What this TV cannot do is change audio for what is being passed through. For instance, if I'm playing something on Plex TV app that's DTS and the TV advanced sound settings were set to DD, I have to go back in to advanced sound settings and change it to DTS and vice versa. Doesn't matter what the source is. If you set it to PCM, it doesn't output in 5.1 on the receiver. Its a real pain!
I even went into Hughes to look at buying an all in one Samsung HW_MS650 soundbar as I thought the reason it was playing up with my receiver is because the AV is fairly old. But the Samsung S7000 they had hooked up to the soundbar had the exact same issue. My older LG tv passed through audio no problem. Its really put me off getting another Samsung in the future.
On top of that, streaming sports using the nowTV app was also a pain, lots of shuddering, in the end I had to disable motion processing for it to look ok. I wouldn't waste your money!

Word on avforums is that it's VA at all sizes except 49" which is IPS.

I have noticed some issues when using my Sony sound bar too. I just set the sound to PCM since its not a 5.1 set up. Not had any issues with the apps shuddering on mine though. Have you turned off all that motion blur blurb? I have and no issues here.

I believe it was auto motion plus I had to disable in advanced picture settings. It was just live football streams on NowTV I was having issues with but it's been fine since disabling that feature.
The whole audio situation is ridiculous though.

Agree, although to be fair the sound on the TV isn’t that bad for small rooms and if someone’s gonna use the TV’s own speakers it shouldn’t be an issue. When I contacted Samsung about the TV sound to soundbar issue they weren’t to helpful. However, the external sound issue aside this TV’s picture is a lot better than other more costly TV’s I tried when I upgraded. To be honest I ended up with this TV out of desperation when it first came out and had no reviews and that was 5 TV’s later and I was finally happy with the picture. I personally can’t stand watching something that has dark scenes and light bleed/clouding. It’s very distracting and at least mine has none of that.

You're right, I don't see any clouding on mine either, whereas my LG that I replaced with this TV does. Seems where you gain with one thing you lose another...

I believe the only difference is yours is curve the MU6120 is flat panel.

Oh cool! Think I’ll stick to it hit then if there’s no difference
I have this TV, great picture for the price don't have an issue with the sound on mine playing through a 5.1 av system. What does annoy me though it's how reflective the screen is. In dark scenes, if I have literally any light on the room in front of the TV, I see myself sitting on the sofa. It's actually particularly bad at the moment as I am wearing shorts a lot and my white legs are very visible! This bugs the hell out of me!!!

Out of interest, what settings do you have for audio please? Does it show as DD/DTS 5.1 on your AV receiver and automatically switch between the 2?
I don't notice the reflection, but then I've added led strips on the back (they don't stick very well due to the back panel mesh texture!)
Thanks, JL have price matched it at £399 including the 5 year warranty.
£46 for Delivery to Scotalnd..... wow... nice to trade in the 1940's
How have you guys managed to get John Lewis to price match this?
I have tried them with this twice now and they are rejecting it. I am adding the voucher code to the additional information section. Any advice appreciated.
I completed the online form, stated the competitors price as £399 and put the voucher code in the additional info box as you state.

It's pot luck I think as RGB have a drop down for 5 year additional insurance at extra cost. Try again with a different email address.
Thanks, I did a different email as well as replying with more info but still declined. think they're just being ********
Ordered from RBG. Thanks for the advice though
