Neither one is better than the other for everyone. It depends on your scenario and setup. Have a read through this:

Thanks for reply . I read this .
I checked already OLED and Qled I do prefer OLED myself just because of sharpness of the picture and brightness but I know it's also depends of the content. Just was wandering if it's worth to invest in OLED yet or wait 2 more years for it .

Consoles will never support G-Sync, Freesync sure. But G-Sync is NVIDIA exclusive.

This is not true, Nvidia has already "unlocked/enabled" G-Sync on many Free-Sync monitors with other outside the official list seemingly working . Additionally have just seen this headline: "Nvidia unlocks G-Sync VRR for AMD graphics cards and games consoles" - haven't verified it, but does seem the way it is going

You’ve got it backwards.

Freesync will work on NVIDIA GPUs, I know as I do this with my monitor. But G-Sync displays won’t work with AMD GPUs on Freesync. Some displays support both, but I'm not sure the LG ones do yet.

My bad, but the point stands it looks like it will be coming to console

G-Sync is NVIDIA exclusive, the next consoles will be using AMD SoC's again. Which means AMD GPUs, so like the Xbox One X they will support Freesync, not G-Sync.

Read what I'm saying, Nvidia is planning G-Sync modules capable of supporting HDMI-VRR and Adaptive Sync, check it out of TFTcentral

That's a lot of chance - you'll have to relay on LG to provide firmware updates for a start. Which is hopeful since they've only updated the firmware on the US models and not the UK/EU ones yet.

If you want to do console or PC gaming you'd be better of finding a panel that supports Freesync now (like the Samsung Q60R/Q90/Q90R), rather than chancing it buying £1.5k worth of telly and hoping LG will patch the support in.

I also checked the article you mentioned, it looks like it will only cover new monitors so it seems like you might not even be able to add this support with a firmware upgrade, it might require additional hardware.

Hey Ollie, quick question, are there any TV's currently on offer that you would recommend for console gaming?

Not sure if they're on offer but anything on that list should be a solid "gaming" TV.

Note that I said gaming in quotations? That's because there aren't really any gaming TVs, if you're big on gaming, and gaming is all you do, you might as well buy a PC monitor.

Cheers, yeah, I've got a dual-monitor setup at home, this is for the missus' house.
I'm looking for a 50" 4k TV for my kids for their Xbox one s. I was originally going to get the hisense model for £299, but this seems better.
I nearly bought this from eBay crampton and Moore last week for £314 with the 20% off eBay code. At the moment, I think this is the best price around...next best I've seen is £379.
Am I right in thinking that this is the best 50" 4k TV available at this price?

Is this the best TV for £350? Is it worth waiting only 1 year warranty and 50Hz?

Best gaming tvs 2019 recommendation
This is the cheapest i've seen in the market, the 43" version of this TV is going for £299, so only £50 extra for a much bigger size.
Found this on AO.coms site £30 cheaper, phoned them for their price match promise only to be told that you cant price match them on eBay.... Lol
