It's because of the underlying tech. Almost all non-oled TV's use LCD panels. These come in two variants: VA, and IPS (sometimes called PLS).

VA panels offer better contrast, blacks, and colour, but have poor viewing angles. This is the type of panel that Samsung uses in most of its TV's, including QLED.

IPS panels have great viewing angles, but have poor black levels and lower contrast. Most of LG's non-oled TV's use IPS panels.

Samsung have developed an optical layer that significantly improves viewing angle performance on VA panels, but this is only available on their top end models that cost £1000+.

Hence why I said "game" as sometimes, they overlook the actual page details they check, with or without a code and I was not sure if they class AO as having a "store" to match the prices, as they do have a collection front

As per this review and the video review posted, viewing angles aren't great on the tv, but then the budget TVs that have better viewing angles like the LG ones have poorer performance overall. That's why I'm struggling to upgrade from a HD TV

Still a cracking TV for the price so heat from me
Do you have the link to the currys model please? The number looks totally different?

Ha, Curry’s can be really funny for that. But I guess they don’t like customers asking. I think as they are commission based salespeople.
If ps now app is on Samsung TV does this mean you can play your games through the app ? Use your controller while playing through the tv with no console connected to tv

I thought I read somewhere that ps now stopped working on Samsung tvs

I price matched today in-store! The CSR had no idea that curry’s even price matched on coupon codes but he rang his manager and he reluctantly said yes they do. I used my companies perk box too for an extra 10% off using gift cards (which were sent in multiples of 50 which only annoyed him more)
Code doesn’t work?
