Good price from RS. Nearly pulled the trigger on this TV but was put off that it just uses 2.4ghz WiFi. Heat from me.
Same price on JL, 1 year less guarantee but that includes delivery if it helps

Correct and I bought it at £499 and price matched to £399 with John Lewis
Purchased this TV last Saturday and noted a few points to share.

Quite a few people said the sound was OK but not great, I thinks it’s actually no different compared to my 5 series Samsung just got a little more base to enhance the sound. I actually prefer the sound output.

Viewing angles not great on light or pale backgrounds, not a problem to most people who sit in front of their TV.

Light reflections, yeah it can be a problem if positioned near a window or wall lights. Again I suppose it’s a much bigger screen and more prone to light reflection.

This 1900 pqr thingy does sometimes give me the impression it struggles to keep up at odd moments, fine on normal TV channels. It’s not screen tear or would I call it ghosting...more like a stutter occasionally.

just my opinion....set up is easy just that Samsung want your postcode which is a bit intrusive into my privacy.

Lets face it, you really cannot go wrong at £399 for a 50” 4K TV such good value.
Ace price Francis, and heat added accordingly 🔥

I finally managed to have looked at this one in store having had to send a Hisense back due to a technical issue. My impression of it compared to the Hisense was a little bit underwhelming, It looks old fashioned due to the much thicker bezel compared to the Hisense, the screen was far more reflective and the picture wasnt as bright. I also saw quite a bit of blocking in blacks and agree it didnt handle fast motion that well and the viewing angles were very narrow (as was the Hisense). Having said that I found the overall picture and colour more natural and enjoyable to watch.

Like you say, pretty good 4k for the price but my older Samsung non 4k TV handles SD, HD picture quality and motion better!
