Settle down for an amazing night in with this 50 inch Samsung LED TV. The true 4K Ultra HD display packs a visual punch, and highlights even the smallest details for a superb viewing experience. HDR10+ fills your screen with incredibly lifelike colours that automatically adjust from scene to scene for a super-accurate range of vivid tones. Plus, all those rich hues will be further enhanced by Dynamic Crystal Colour technology, which displays images in over a billion different shades, while Supreme Motion tech smooths out the visuals for a superb viewing experience. And you’ll have plenty of choice on movie nights, as Smart Hub gives you access to plenty of streaming apps, including Apple TV and Netflix, as well as all your favourite catch up TV.

We want you to fully enjoy your new TV, so please be careful when unpacking it – pull it out of the box using the edges so that you don’t damage the screen. If you need to return your TV for any reason, we just ask that you don’t pack the plug in front of the screen as it could damage the TV in transit.

So their own price match online form is wrong then which states. "We don't match online-only or mail order businesses such as Amazon, ASOS or AO.com". Anyone got them to price match AO? Thanks
Just price match using Argos.

Well i got this one a couple of weeks ago via Hughes clearance on eBay for £344 and can say apart from the quite limited viewing angles as to be expected on a VA panel it's the best tv I've owned to date. I've always had issues with lg with the backlight bleed and blooming so would only get another if it was an oled. Highly recommend this samsung though
Is 7400 good in terms of viewing angles?

Not really. It's a VA panel which the weakness is viewing angles. A lot of the LG's have a different panel type with good viewing angles. I mean it's not terrible. But if it's a high priority I would avoid TVs with VA panels.
Put price match through JL and respond said “due to higher than normal enquires response time could take up to 48 hours”. Plenty of other sellers John Lewis so pull ya finger out! Just saying.....

Jlp are terrible, it’s no wonder they can’t make a profit. Service is awful, response times awful and even their warranty is awful if you need to use it. We did, left without a tv for 3 weeks, collected by some guy in his car!

Richer sounds warranty is real, AO try and fob you of to manufacturer, they really don't care.

This one all day. Would avoid LGs budget TVs, no where near as good as Samsung for the money.

Although LG invented IPS their TVs have an air gap between glass and panel with edge shadowing so Samsung’s where glass is bonded to panel look a lot better.

You can get 2 X 65 inch Hisense tvs from Costco for that price if you don't mind budget range. The difference in picture quality of the budget range when pitched against the premium brand is marginal imo. Go into currys or costco and see them side by side

Been watching this TV model for a while and only last week John Lewis price was £429 before a steep price hike to £499 matching Currys.

They agreed to price match Argos £399 plus delivery charge £3.95 still cheaper than 01st January 2020.

New tv models come out around April each year. If you wait until then you will usually see good prices on the previous years model. Last May I got the previous years model of this TV for £449 (55”). So I’d say this model is likely to go a bit lower in price if you wait, but always have to bite before they sell out.

All depends where it is in the room and where the sunlight is coming in. I don’t find that with ours but ours is wall mounted.
