Seems to be this price everywhere?
I got the 55" version for £350 a few weeks back from JL!
This is the introductory price it was at when it first started for sale in March

Its been cheaper (£350 as Brundy said), but cheapest if you want it now is Box or Peter Tyson, both are £10 cheaper. Best to wait a month this is likely to drop £50+ once all the 2019 stock is finally gone.

Says 2 x HDMI on the page? Wow! I know I'm nit picking here but I need a minimum of 4! (and no I'm not going to use any dodgy switcher etc).
Thank you.
Already cheaper elsewhere as others said, but only 2 HDMI and only 1 USB is a deal breaker, sorry not a good deal.

Pretty average TV really. This years Samsung range are of lower spec than last years 'equivalent' range. Personally, I would get a higher spec 2019 model for similar money - the LG 49UM7400PLB £379 at Richer Sounds with 6 year warranty, or Hisense H50B7500UK for £349 at John Lewis with 5 year warranty (55" also available there for £379).
Perhaps the best 50" Tv available at this price point is the Hisense H50U7BUK (2019) for £399 also at John Lewis with 5 year warranty.

There were others, but most are now out of stock, so the above are probably the best options - in my opinion of course

Samsung have history of doing this only a few years ago when they made the old 6000 = new 7000, but this year they really took the different route and just removed features from the lower end e.g. this TV with hardly any I/O. Another one to watch out of with Samsung is Freesat they have removed it from all low end TV's and lowest (bar a version of the model in OP) model to have it is the 8500!

LG are taking a different route and have jacked up the RRP at the lower end. For example the lowest priced true new 55" is £699. Although they do have the SM8050 though for £550, despite it being a better equiped than the rest of the LG range till about £899.
great deal but I would avoid the lower end samsung models. I got one there is an update available from samsung but there is no space for it even though i have not downloaded any new apps etc.

Yes, I agree. Even this years QLED range are lower spec'd than last years. Another thing to look out for - from most manufacturers - is the fact that even on higher end TV's, the 49/50 inch versions are lower spec than the larger screen sizes. Most only use 60hz panels in the 49/50" sizes when all the equivalent models in larger sizes use 120hz panels - Sony being the exception with the XF/ XG90 and 95 models.
Not sure why this has been posted when it's cheaper at other places?

Perhaps you could post it as a deal then if you find it cheaper?

Most places are £379 - couple of places are cheaper but out of stock, so not much use.
How can you have "crystal clear colour"? It's an oxymoron
Last years model better 55inch plus 2 Free Blu-rays £399 prcdirect.co.uk/sam…tml
Anyone confirm if this has satellite input for freesat?

You need the TU7100 for Freesat.

The TU7100 is just a cosmetic variant of the TU7000.

The TU8500 is the first 4K model in the 2020 range with Freesat.

Huh your right, could of sworn the 7100 model had Freesat. I just checked a couple of sites and their databases do list it as having Freesat as well but the individual product page's correctly say it doesn't. Guess the original literature might have had it down as having it then it got removed.

The range affected is the NU6XXX and NU7XXX from 2018. The issues were resolved in 2019's RU series.
Hey @Nelsonciv good start! Thanks for posting!
Really fancied this tv but that 2 HDMI is shocking.
