Found 20th Feb 2014
I have ordered one
it also is the UK version with the Tuner
DVB-T2 / C / S2 DTV.
Also this Samsung UE55F6740 has a 600 CMR and micro dimming which is better than the Samsung Ue55F6500.which is 400 CMR and does not have micro dimming.
No huge difference but £5 cheaper than the ue55f6500 by JL both with a 5 year WARRANTY. this is a better deal of £109.01 cheaper than JLs UE40F6740

I'm about to buy a Samsung UE55F6320 for £898 with the 5 year guarantee. Good old Costco.

How does this model compare to that. From what I can see the F6320 has 200 CMR (whatever that is..) and the voice/gesture facility isn't available on the F6320, otherwise it's almost identical.

Can anyone in the know clarify if that's the case ?

This will come with wifi built in and smart remote control.

Other differences will be far superior picture quality on this one and it looks a lot better.

Nearly forgot freesat on this as well.

Interesting, thanks.

Now, I don't need the smart remote or free-sat as it will be plugged into a sky hd box and a dvd player only. According to the specifications, the F6320 has built in wi-fi too. Whether or not the 6740 looks better is subjective, but to be truthful I preferred the F6320 over the equivalent 55inch SONY that I was going to buy from Costco so I'd be happy with the F6320. I thought the sound was better too.

Do you have a link to the F6320 specs, I've only managed to find translated from French site so far and sometimes specification listings are wrong.
I downloaded a manual from Samsung, it seems to imply that it comes with the smart remote and gestures recogniiton in contrast to the translated french listing.

Anyone know for a fact the spec of the 6320 ?

Sorry, this is a spin off from the 55inch SONY offer at COSTCO, THIS deal.

My local Costco couldn't get any of the SONYs in so as a gesture they have offered the Samsung to those of us that were on the waiting list for the same price. It's a little over £100 off their shelf price which I thought was quite decent.

What do you think ?

for a review and spec I found these on the Samsung UE40F6320 review
http://www.s21.com/samsung-ue40f6320.htm

There are so many Samsung TVs jostling for your attention this year that the 40F6320 might just slip past your attention. Don't let it! This has all the goodness of the Samsung UE40F6400 for about fifty quid less!

There are minor differences in appearance and you get a different remote control, but otherwise the features and performance of these two televisions is the same. Recommended!

So best to look at the Samsung UE40F6400 for a review to be able to compare it too the Samsung UE40F6740 review
Even though this is the 40" and not the 55" it gives everything the same.

Samsung UE40F6400 review
http://www.s21.com/samsung-ue40f6400.htm

The Samsung UE40F6400 adds Samsung's award-winning Smart TV to the Samsung UE40F6100, and costs about £50 extra. That makes the F6400 good value in our opinion.

Conclusion
The F6400 isn't a bad TV at all. It would make a perfectly adequate living room TV for a family. While viewing angles can be a little tight, the picture quality isn't bad for the price. Audio quality isn't worse than most comparable TVs, while the excellent Smart TV is its outstanding attraction. The wide range of connections is another good feature.

At the same time, the 3D performance is poor, and we really wouldn't recommend this model for more than just occasional 3D viewing.

The F6400 is probably the cheapest 40-inch model in Samsung's range that we could recommend. Below this the picture quality is compromised in too many ways. We'd recommend pushing the budget up to the F6500 or higher for a better viewing experience, or perhaps considering the excellent Sony KDL-42W653A instead. If you do choose the F6400, be sure to spend some time learning about the various picture settings and optimising them for best results.

Samsung UE40F6740 review
http://www.s21.com/samsung-ue40f6740.htm

Samsung have always released a lot of different 40-inch TV models, but this year they've gone completely bonkers. Finding your way through the maze isn't easy, even for a professional reviewer, but the F6740 model seems to slot in immediately below the F7000, giving you nearly everything that the more expensive model offers, but at a more realistic price.

Conclusion - excellent and sensibly priced
The UE40F6740 is an excellent TV and a significant step up from last year's Series 6 models. As well as the attractive slimline design with built-in swivel stand, it offers good picture quality, including 3D, excellent connectivity and outstanding Smart TV functionality. It's perhaps in the Smart TV area that Samsung's 2013 range truly excels.

At launch, the price of this TV was silly, but it's fallen £200 since then, making the TV sensibly priced. We'd rate it as an excellent option for a family TV.

Great effort, much appreciated.
I think for the money I'll be happy enough with the 6320. It's bound to be better than my 37" 6 year old samsung lcd flatty that I posted here many moons ago.
