Not sure about JL but it's been that price at RS and Currys for a couple of days. Holding off to see if it drops further tomorrow or Monday before buying it, already a great price though.

This was £918 at the co-op with their £60 off voucher, last night I believe. Not sure if still the case

Has been closer to £900 with vouchers, likewise I'm hoping they do a daft deal on this panel too

A few years ago we'd all have been wondering what on earth you are talking about. Oh, how the human race evolves.

And this is going cold because?

Yes it has been cheaper with codes but certainly not from John Lewis. Buy a tv from anywhere else at your peril.

Let's not forget price match and also if it goes down over the next 28 days John Lewis WILL refund the difference.

good price

I would rather buy from richersounds for same price - 6 year warranty and better customer service

I'm waiting for a sub £900 deal with a decent warranty then I'll be purchasing it too!

Also worth remembering that RS TV warranty is an in home visit If the TV is over 32"....

No carting the thing back to store if you have an issue.....

I've owned this set for around 2 months now and I don't think I can live with it any longer.
As other reviews have said, this TV has some very apparent issues with the motion processing and frame stuttering particularly on 1080i sources which at times (quite often) completely ruins the viewing experience. This is not solved by any combination of the motion processing settings available.
I held off returning the TV, on the basis that firmware updates may have solved the problem but sadly despite numerous updates this issue remains. This is such

How is 5 from 27 mostly?

A handful at most and most likely due to individual setup/circumstances.

Even so, John Lewis and/or Samsung would rectify any problems without question.

This tv keeps coming up but as been said before look at the owner reviews on avforums - I find it hard to understand the poor q/c on TVs at the moment.

I see this TV has some bad reviews but don't most tvs? will be ideal for xbox one s etc like I'll be using it for

Show me a proper bad review, As far as I'm aware it's the best tv of 2016 and the perfect compliment to ps4 pro. I don't mean some random bloke on a forum. I'm talking professional reviews. The only qc issue I know of is the back falling off and I'm wall mounting so not entirely fussed (granted it's a poor situation). If I have a 5yr warranty it's their prob not mine. Luckily I'm not looking at the back. The only alternative for a gamer is the Panasonic 902, but it's way more expensive.

i was in curry's yesterday as reviews say the back peels off as glued on and the one on show in curry's had the back peeling off, still all expert reviews are raving about this tv , as far as the stuttering im hoping that Samsung will put out a firmware fix, with all that I'm going to buy one tonight it's the best tv for that money out there.

I would just like to add some feedback and my experience owning this TV as i wish somebody had in formed me also.

In summary, this is a great TV, great screen, input lag is great for gaming, it does have a Game Mode in HDR, 10-bit panel really bright etc.
However, I was so disappointed with the build quality, within the first 2 weeks of owning this product (60KS7000) the back panel separated from the top corder and partially from the sides. I investigated further and realised this is a common problem, went down to numerous JL and PcWorld to see the same model in store and the units on display are suffering from the same issue. When I was on the phone to JL the friendly agent I spoke to mentioned that I wasn't the first caller regarding this and replacing the TV may represent the same issue so advised that I may want to look at another model.
Please see this video, exactly the same issue I had within the first 2 weeks. youtube.com/wat…2Zc

If you guys can get past this issue then great but thought it would be useful to know this if considering to purchase. I was soo disappointed and looking at the KS8000 seems to also be glued on.

are you getting any stuttering of picture as mentioned in previous comments?

I've had the 55 inch version for a week and a half. I have noticed occasional stuttering, quite hard to notice unless you're looking for it. I have motion control turned off. Not sure if it is my settings. On bright screens in either HD or 4K the picture is incredible. Dark screens less so, again could be down to settings.

Wondering if the slight stuttering is a tv specific thing or if all have it,

Not used a 1080i signal at the time, used mostly 1080p and 4K source. When i initially got it the main issue i got was from the soap opera effect, is this what your refering to?, i just turn of the auto motion settings which was fine for me. If your not happy i dont blame you, these TVs are still expensive. Maybe worth an exchange or a replacement if that setting doesnt change anything for you.
I dont think im that sensitive to it, although saying that I do remember my mate notice it more than me.

Now £949 but don't know why I bother, this is actually a good deal but I would have got more votes for posting some cheap tat deal that people don't even want but vote anyway because it's 50p and everywhere is out of stock lol
