HDR 1000 or Ultra HD Premium, 10-bit panels are going to be the new norm. Samsung KS7000/7500/8000/9000 are the best ones that I can see right now, these are retailing from £1200 - £2000 with 5 year warranties. I have been looking at getting UE55KS7500 £1,427.00 Inc VAT at Appliance Electronics. Question about content available is still quite valid, I think between Netflix, Amazon there are only a handful of titles in 4k HDR. But they are slowly coming out... With the pound being 'pounded' atm (excuse the pun), Electronics may rise in price anyway. So, I am considering quite seriously now... Hate spending more than £600 on TVs and I have always been a generation or two behind on TV tech, for once It'd be nice to catch up... Will go in-store and judge for my self but from what I hear the Samsung KS range I specified is as good as it gets sans OLED.

Does anyone have experience of this seller?

I'm after a 9000 and they are a couple hundred less than Currys and JL.. but seem to only have a year warranty as standard where as everyone else has 5/6 years.

That 7500 looks good value.
I got the 8500 of last year, the js for £1069 a couple of weeks ago.
Depends how soon you want it. Electronics always drop in price soon after release so should offset weakness of pound

I have last years 7500 (55JU7500) and it does look amazing. Better then my Panasonic Plasma G10.

No doubt this new one will be better still, especially as it's HDR.
If you want to save a few quid, then last years model is now £999 at a few retailers.

These do come with 5 years, if you click on the link under each product page... the link to this particular model was for a 5 year warranty deal.

UE55KU6670/6500 (just a design difference apparently) is a better option, 1600 PQI compared to 1400 PQI of 55JU7500. At 55inches retails at £999 or 49 inches at £750 at Currys with a 5 year warranty. Never really trusted these random numbers before, but I did notice a difference between the 1600 PQI and 1800 PQI sets last year, so they must mean something!

Have you tried getting JL to price match?

JL doesn't price match, points to some T&C difference, something to do with delivery charges.
these guys grey import products so be wary re warranty

Most product pages I see have this text:

Buy this TV with 5 years warranty for a fantastic price.

obviously, when you click, it then loads the page with the warranty applied.
