As members of the newly-founded UHD Alliance, they've engineered HDR lifted by their PurColour technology. This tech adjusts 192 points of red, green, blue, cyan, magenta and yellow to deliver extraordinary realism. Shades are sharper, images are deeper and the colours all-the-more eye-popping.

With four times the pixels of Full HD, you’ll be able to see every single detail in 4K – no matter what resolution the content is. This is with thanks to Samsung’s innovative upscaling technology which converts lower resolution content, such as live TV, to a level of detail which is near UHD quality.

Stunning Ultra Clean View Panel
This panel’s Ultra Clean View analysis that input signal and cleanses any noise, so that what you see is super sharp. This way, your content will look even more beautiful than on conventional UHD panels.

Samsung Smart Hub
Now faster with further ultra-high definition streaming, catch-up and games services, is the new Smart Hub platform. This is quick and easy platform marks a massive step forward for the connected home. Access the latest apps to experience the best UHD content from Netflix and Amazon, with more providers coming soon*. Control Your Connected Home

It can connect to over 200 SmartThings compatible devices and put your home under complete wireless control – all from your TV**. This way, you’ll be able to set the right scene in your living room without getting off the sofa.

Perfect partners
With TVs getting slimmer and built-in speakers getting smaller, choosing the right sound system is more important than ever. Soundbars enhance your TV’s sound quality and add that extra audio punch to all your movies, games and TV programmes. More affordable and easier to set up than a full size speaker system, they don’t compromise on quality either.

Anyone actually rang and got through and able to check stock for this?
I called John Lewis Customer service and was advised it was showing zero stock with no further stock expected. She said it was reduced to that price since 25th December and that the notes said it was due to slow sales. She also said that they sold 230 at that £149.00 price!

I think it was a JL glitch.
Can someone find a Samsung TV that is in stock in the sale with this amount of discount?
mro201116 m ago

I think it was a JL glitch.

Surely its only a glitch if the item actually exists?
I agree and I mean the price by JL. The KS7000 and 8000 hasn’t been on the site for ages and suddenly it was back at those prices but KS7000 was showing 2 stock when I looked online and people were saying error when they tried to buy (glitch and JL realised and stopped it). KS7000 back upto 500 and oos KS8000 is cheaper than KS7000 but also oos.

I had to get TVs we bought the kids for Christmas replaced as they were faulty, I spent days checking for deals at the lower price range and in the end called JL none of these TVs were ever online at the prices they were today and talking to customers service there weren’t any they could get at reduced price. I suspect they are telling a tale as their system are on the blink, if you try to search just for in stock items they even show up in that, system issues.

Shops sometimes put ridiculously low prices for discontinued items... Chance would be a fine thing of getting such an offer

That makes sense as similar things happened with sofas on JL just after New Year. Well done to those page refreshers! Need to put more hours in myself.

I agree, I worked in Dixon’s head office about 15 years ago and had access to the systems that detailed items and the prices in Dixon’s, Currys and PC World. They discounted items massively when discontinued. It was rare to find items but it was possible by phoning any stores that showed they still had a few in stock. Usually random items still in the stock room or ex display.

I've just phoned and asked to check the Glasgow and Edinburgh stock. The agent on the phone said they're completely out of stock in all stores now.
Too....
