Good deal. Shame it's only basic warranty.

Yep - for that money I'd be looking for at least a 10 year one.

John Lewis will do a price match on this so you can have their 5 year warranty. They did it for me the last time this offer was on at RGB.

5 year warranty , I do not know of any supplier that would offer 10 years
you could also ask richer sounds to price match and possibly get 6 years

Guys being sarcastic lol
John Lewis do price match codes, but this is out of stock so you wouldn't be able to get it from them anyway.

Clicked on the link and saw what you pointed out. However, further down the same page and on the checkout page it says you only receive a 1 year warranty.

They will price match codes if the code is listed on the site publicly as it is here. Anyways JL is OOS and this has 5yo warranty anyways and rgb has good enough rep.
Didn't realise there was a difference in warranties.

Not a fan of curved still tempted but won't let me add code or checkout, on mobile.

Edit: Got it to work! Really tempted.

Buying a curved screen TV these days is akin to purchasing a HD-DVD player or an Amstrad e-mailer phone.
Checkout page still saying 'one year warranty included'.
This website is riddled with errors. They state 'free 5 years warranty' twice, then try to charge you for it. They clearly don't know the difference between a standard manufacturers warranty & a guarantee which covers accidental damage. Someone needs to make a fuss!

Why is that?
Not sure on curved screens most seem on offer virtually everywhere , saw one on gumtree the other day at nearly half list price ,anybody have any more info re performance etc

Not really. If you like a curved TV that's choice. The tech is the same as a TV so it's not going out of date, it's just the style was a fab and people paid a high price to have it, now it's a reasonable price.
I got this TV for similar price about a year ago from RS . I think couldn't be more pleased and don't have any problem with the curve it fits in the corner where I needed and no problems with viewing from any angle
Website doesn't work whether mobile or pc version. Always 404 error
Not 10 bit by looks of it.
Very happy with mine, paid 600 a month ago and have no complaints
Complete with CIA Private line ref :

'wouldn’t worry too much about it unless you are tailed by spies on a regular basis. Don’t trust the TV repairman!

Since when does a guarantee cover accidental damage, surely that's insurance you're thinking of. A guarante gives you peice of mind that it'll work as intended for X amount of years. It is not the manufacturer's or seller's fault if you accidentally pull it of its stand and breaks.

Website works fine for me on PC and mobile and clearly states Free 5 Year Warranty. The additional warranties offered are to cover accidental damage should you want this. There is no need to add this as you are usually covered for this with your home contents insurance.
Think they've updated the site - I get the following error message...

curved Tvs are becoming obsolete.less cured models are being made now and specially most of top of the range sets are no longer curved.
it was a short marketing "trend".

let's say they are no longer the "trend".or like a certain style of clothing.they are "out of fashion" now.so while buying one won't effect their functionality, it might not be the best choice as they are becoming obsolete and in 1-2 years time (if not already!) a reminder of a short era of marketing gimmick.

Richer Sounds priced matched this down to £529 for me (£549 - £20 for the HDMI cable on the RGB deal that Richer don't stock!).. Just placed the order with their Telesales team! He did question that the website on RGB seems to have changed (now appears to be £599 as only £50 voucher), but they stuck to their email from earlier this morning! Cheers OP, absolute steal at £529 for me!!!!

I like the curved screen. After watching mine, even for a short while I find going back to watching my Pansonic flat screen really weird & odd-looking, I just can;t get on with the old shape anymore!!.

The problem is now I can't even look out of my window without feeling queasy, unless I sit in the front room with the bay window

Got a lg oled curved ,would not swap for a flat .certain brands have a more obvious curve than others Samsung being the most obvious .
Had nothing but great comments on TV from friends family and that's with it switched off!!

Probably the biggest TV manufacturer Samsung obviously don't think they are obsolete as their flagship range all have curved options.

Nothing wrong with giving people a choice.
